At St. Luke's Church, we sing choral evensong on the 4th Sunday of each month. I invite you to come on Sunday, May 24th at 5pm for the service of Choral Evensong for Whitsunday, with canticle settings by Tomás Luis de Victoria, an anthem by Orlando Gibbons called Come, Holy Ghost - all this with lessons from scripture, Whitsunday hymns, chanted psalms, and an organ postlude by J.S. Bach, followed by a shape-note hymn send-off.

All services are always free. All are welcome.

All of us at Trinity have been thrilled with the enthusiastic support from our community during the Next Great Save competition this year. To have been a finalist in this national contest and then to have placed 6th is an achievement to be proud of. Thank you all.

Having the responsibility for maintaining our beautiful National and Provincial Historic site is an ongoing challenge as both the building and our congregation age.

We are facing a difficult challenge with damage to the exterior of the south wall of the church, which has also damaged the plaster inside. This is the wall that supports our beloved Rose Window.

It will require a lot of money, but our National and Provincial Heritage designations don’t come with any funding to support the building, so it is up to us, not just “us” at Trinity, but all of “us in Digby and South West Nova Scotia.
Fundraising to finance this repair is now critical.

Spring Clean-up at St Anne's Camp: Saturday, April 11 (Tomorrow!) the Board of Saint Anne's Anglican Youth Camp is organizing a work day, beginning at 10 with a couple objectives to get the Camp ready to welcome campers for a season of programming. Over the fall / winter a new roof has been put on the Dining Hall - hooray! But there are scrap building materials left over around and inside the building that need to be gathered up for removal. This job is in addition to the other spring cleaning of the kitchen, cabins and other buildings in preparation for the season. So... bring a bag lunch, drinking water, a broom, a dust pan, a bottle of windex, a roll of paper towel, a pair of gloves, and / or some heavy duty garbage bags AND readiness to work and make this Camp beautiful for the programming ahead this summer!
