Faith Calls Us to Love, Not Hate

Hate has no space in our community

The Town of Amherst is committed to fostering a community built on respect, inclusion, and compassion.

Hate, discrimination, and personal attacks of any kind have no place in our community. Words and actions rooted in intolerance cause harm not only to individuals, but to the sense of safety, belonging, and connection that strengthens our town.

Amherst is strongest when people feel welcomed, supported, and treated with dignity. We encourage kindness, empathy, and respect for all.

Together, we can continue building a community where everyone belongs.

Christ Church is proud to launch its 5th Say Yes! to Kids campaign:

Over the past four years — in collaboration with The Anglican Foundation of Canada — our parish has raised more than $15,000 to support ministry with children and youth.

This summer, we will once again offer a community day camp for children ages 6–12, welcoming families from our parish, neighbouring churches, and the wider Amherst community.
Through games, crafts, friendship, and faith-filled learning, children will grow in confidence, build relationships, and experience God’s love in a joyful setting.

Funds raised in this year’s campaign will support our 2026 summer day camp and help strengthen year-round children and youth ministry at Christ Church Amherst.
You can contribute by making a designated offering to Christ Church (by cash, cheque or e-transfer) using a special “Say Yes! To Kids” envelope or by clearly marking your contribution for: “Say Yes! to Kids”.

You can also donate online through The Anglican Foundation of Canada Say Yes! to Kids 2026 “CanadaHelps” page by clicking on this link:

Thank you for helping us Say Yes! to Kids,
say yes to faith, and say yes to community!
