Lac Ste Anne Pilgrimage FOR SEVERAL DAYS each July, thousands of pilgrims make their way to the shores of Lac Ste Anne.

This pilgrimage, which began over a hundred years ago, has become the largest annual Indigenous religious and Catholic gathering in Western Canada.

This morning the Vatican officially announced the Holy Father, Pope Francis, will be coming to Lac Ste Anne for the pilgrimage on July 26th!

Note that the pilgrimage will be open to registered participants only on July 26th with limited access by Park & Ride busses ONLY.

Camping and/or parking can NOT be allowed on the site until the morning of Tuesday, July 27th, so participants will need to arrange camping at other locations before then. No exceptions.
