Unity Founders: Charles and Myrtle Fillmore:
You do not have a problem except the one that is in your own mind, and you put it there!
Myrtle Fillmore

"God is the one perfect life flowing through us. God is the one pure substance out of which our organism is formed. God is the only reality of us; all else is but a shadow that is cast by some foolish belief or unwise combination of thoughts and the elements of being. When we let light flood us with its sunshine, all clouds vanish and we begin to see ourselves in new ways of doing, which lead to wholeness and health and satisfaction and growth." Myrtle Fillmore (1895)

Charles Fillmore Christmas letter - 1947. As relevant now as then...

Christmas, 1947

Dear Folks—

At the very beginning of this letter I was warned "But let your speech be Yea, yea and Nay, nay."

There are so many things I would like to discuss with you! What does the Lord say about the signs of the times, will there be another war? How about the prophets who say that our civilization is about to end?, etc.

Frankly, I have had no direct revelation on any of these points. I only know that our God, who controls this world through His people, is greater and far more powerful than all the destructive [folly ?] of the universe, and that if only a few of us stand steadfastly for truth and righteousness they will prevail, and our civilization go right formed to its fulfillment in the Millenium.

United in this truth we shall have a Merry Christmas and Very Happy New Year.
In the Unity of the Spirit
Yours faithfully,
Charles Fillmore

"You can do anything with the thoughts of your mind. They are yours and under your control. You can direct them, coerce them, hush them, or crush them ... When you fully apprehend this and begin to exercise your God-given dominion, you begin to find the way to God, the only door to God, the door of mind and thought." (Charles Fillmore)
