DayBreak Community Church, Airdrie AB DayBreak Community Church of Airdrie is a group of people who love Jesus and are trying to be more like him every day.

Our Mission: To enrich lives with the good news of Jesus via relationships, education, and service. DayBreak Community Church of Airdrie is a group of Christ-followers whose primary objective is to share the persistent love of Jesus Christ with ALL people. We are people who are finding help, hope and healing in Jesus and desire to see other people encounter the kind of acceptance, assistance and growth to be found via the Life offered through faith in Christ. While we respect all faith traditions, we unapologetically look to the example of Jesus, God’s Incarnate Word, as the author and director of how we practice our faith in twenty first-century Canada.

Journey to the Father’s Heart: All in a Day’s Prayer

Prayer is how we come to know God, and in knowing Him, we come to know ourselves. Join us for an afternoon of learning to listen to the One who whispers into the ears of the heart.

Journey to the Father’s Heart focuses on two disciplines: the spiritual discipline of prayer, talking with God, and the personal discipline of self-awareness, asking who we are at our core. We will primarily use scripture to prompt our prayers and allow the Holy Spirit to speak into our spirits about ourselves. Our time together will include prayer, listening, meditation, silence, and journaling.

This is the first gathering in a series that continues through the fall, winter, and spring. Come to one or come to all.

Together—kids, youth, and adults—we’ll worship, reflect on what we’ve been learning throughout our Curiosity in Faith journey, and discover how Jesus calls us to follow Him, even when we still have questions.
