Archie Baddeley passed away this morning. At Archie's request, there will be no funeral, and no graveside service.
Please keep his beloved wife Bev, and their family, in your prayers at this difficult time.

17 July, 1938 – 10 April, 2026 Arthur "Archie" Alfred Baddeley passed away suddenly at Georgetown Hospital on Friday April 10, 2026, at the age of 87, with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Beverley (McKnight) for 55 years.

We remember with gratitude the life of Irene McCowan, a faithful member of our choir and church community. Through many challenges, Irene’s strength, humour, and enduring grace were an inspiration. She and George were a cornerstone of Knox for many years, and she will be deeply missed. We hold George and their family in our prayers. May she rest in peace.

Sharing our condolences with the sad news that Flora Barber died suddenly on March 12. She has been a valued member of the Knox congregation since June 15, 1975. Her funeral arrangements are being handled by MacKinnon Funeral Home. Visitation at 10 am Wednesday, March 18 with a funeral service to follow at 11 am from the funeral home.

The Seniors Ministry at Acton Bethel Church are hosting a Lunch and Learn event on "Being Prepared" by Jones Funeral Home on Fri Mar 13 from 11am-1pm at The Roxy Centre (6 Mill St E). Acton's World Day of Prayer Service will be held at Churchill Community Church at 7:00 p.m. on Friday March 6, 2026. The theme, “I Will Give You Rest: Come,” is based on Matthew 11: 28 – 30. The service has been written and prepared by WDP Nigeria, prepared and adapted for use in Canada by the Women’s Inter-Church Council of Canada.

This week's service is presented by the Acton Salvation Army Community Church. There will be a free will offering for Santa's Helpers. All are welcome and we hope you can join us!
