Hey, Hey Encourage Women! 👋🏼☀️

Study Nights are right around the corner!

3 nights over 3 months as we gather once again to open the Word of God, learn together and grow together in who God has called us to be as mighty women of God.

These semesters have fostered so much growth, connection and encouragement, and we can’t wait to gather around the table again!

This semester, we’re centred around GRATITUDE — the practice, the power and the posture of a grateful heart.

Gratitude keeps us in remembrance of the goodness and faithfulness of God, keeps our eyes fixed on who He is, and helps us live with hope for all He is yet to do.

Yesterday, it was our “JOY” to honour Margit for her faithful service in leading J.O.Y these past 8 years at Hope City.

Super well done to her and the amazing J.O.Y. Crew for all the pouring out to create meaningful fellowship and community for “just older youth”.

We bless you in the name of Jesus and thank God for the integral part of the body you have been and continue to be!

We’re pleased to say Daniel and Brenda Steunenberg will be stepping into leading J.O.Y this season.

This past Saturday their gathering was a beautiful transition as together we work together in continuing to be the hands and feet of Jesus in serving one another well.

We go together not alone for the glory of one name alone, it all belongs to Him - JESUS.

Happy Labour Day, church!

We pray today finds you well, enjoying time with family and loved ones as we wrap up the summer season and step into all that’s ahead.

To all the families, students, teachers and school staff preparing backpacks and bags for the start of school tomorrow…we’re praying for you and believing this new season will be filled with much joy and fulfillment for you to the glory of God.

Let’s take JESUS to our schools like never before this season!!

What a powerful Sunday! God is good, all the time and all the time, GOD IS GOOD!

LIVING DIFFERENT MAKES A DIFFERENCE.

1 Peter 4 reminds us that following Jesus changes the way we live.

• We’re finished with the old life.
• We live for God’s Kingdom to come
and will to be done.
• We live to be pleasing to Him.
• We purpose to love well.
• We practice hospitality.
• We use what God has entrusted us
with to serve others.

And when following Jesus costs us something…we keep going with joyful hands lifted high and hearts filled with surrender.

We weren’t called to blend in. We are called to live differently…to be pleasing to God and bring Him glory with all we are and have.

“That in ALL THINGS God may be glorified through Jesus Christ.”1 Peter 4:11
