Nous sommes invités par l'Église Saint-Paul's Anglicane pour une célébration pour Pâques.
Ce sera le SAMEDI 4 avril 2026 à 11 h dans l'église, et le tout sera suivi par un dîner de type "potluck" (chacun apporte un plat qui sera partagé parmi les participants). Le potluck sera au Hall Fisk.

We have been invited by St. Paul's Anglican Church to an Easter celebration.

It will be on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the church, followed by a potluck dinner (everyone brings a dish to share). The potluck will be held in Fisk Hall.

We wish to confirm the final details regarding our Christmas Eve service.

The service will be led by Alison Ingram, and we are especially pleased to announce that we will have communion, with Reverend Virginia Wallace officiating.

There is definitely something special about attending church on Christmas Eve – please plan to be with us as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior!

Invite your family and friends to attend.

A time of fellowship and light refreshments will follow the service.

À l'AIDE!
L’Église Unie d’Abbotsford a récemment été passée au peigne fin. Un carnet de santé fait par une architecte et un ingénieur a relevé plusieurs anomalies sérieuses qui demandaient des interventions urgentes. Des réparations sont requises à la fondation, le porche et le beffroi (qui est à risque de s’effondrer). Au total, l’ensemble de ces travaux est estimé à 220 000,00$.

Une demande a été faite, au Conseil du patrimoine religieux du Québec, et le projet sera financé à la hauteur de 180 000$ par ce dernier. Il reste à combler une somme de 44 000$ pour finir de payer la totalité des travaux. Nous sommes à 45% de notre but de collecte de fonds.

HELP WANTED !
The United Church of Abbotsford recently underwent a thorough inspection. A structural assessment conducted by an architect and an engineer revealed several serious issues requiring urgent attention. Repairs are needed to the foundation, the porch, and the bell tower (which is at risk of collapse). The total cost of these repairs is estimated at $220,000.

An application was submitted to the Quebec Religious Heritage Council, which will provide $180,000 in funding. An additional $44,000 is needed to cover the remaining costs. We have currently reached 45% of our fundraising goal.

The celebration of life for Marie-Cécile Brasseur will be held in St-Paul's Anglican church on November 15th at 11 am, followed by a gathering in Fisk Hall to share memories and fellowship.

Celebration of life, Saturday November 15th at 11 am in St-Paul's Anglican Church in Abbotsford, followed by a get-together in the Hall to commemorate Marie-Cécile together.

It is with great sadness that we learned earlier today of the passing of Marie-Cécile Brasseur, wife of Ron Fisk of Abbotsford. We offer our sincere condolences to Ron, her daughter Josée and the other members of her family and friends. We will post more as we receive details of the funeral.
