Friday, August 07th at 1:30 p.m. - English tea party at St George’s Church, Granby

Proceeds to benefit organizations with social impact in Granby.

Saturday, August 8th at 6:00 p.m. at St Paul d’Abbotsford – Ensemble Caprise Concert - with Latino music and testimonies from seasonal workers.
To support the seasonal migrant workers who enrich our community during the region's growing and harvesting seasons.
Free entrance.

Sunday, August 16 at 6:00 p.m. at St George’s Granby – Ensemble Caprise Concert - with Latino music and testimonies from seasonal workers.
Free entrance.

Friday, August 14 at 6:00 p.m. (time to be confirmed) – L’Harmonie des Saisons:
Open Dress Rehearsal at St George’s Church, Granby
SOMMEILS ET SONGES DE LA NUIT - Couperin, Rameau et Vivaldi.

Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. - The Funeral Service for Anita Nelthorpe.
Visitations start at 1:00 p.m. at St George’s, Granby
Family and friends are welcome to join us as we gather to celebrate her life and honor her memory.

Holy Eucharist
After a Summer Break during August, Sunday Church Services will resume on
Sunday, August 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. with Communion at St George’s, Granby
Followed by a Corporation meeting at 12:30 p.m.

Sunday, September 06 at 9:00 am at St Thomas’ Rougemont
11:00 AM – at St George’s Granby

Come join us for fellowship. Engage in meaningful prayer, liturgy, and receive spiritual guidance to deepen your connection with God.

Dear St George’s friends,

These are our activities for the month of August:

Sunday, August 2 at 4:00 p.m.– Pride Celebration at the Cathedral, Montreal.
On behalf of the Cathedral, I invite you to the annual Pride Celebration on Sunday. Beyond the normal parts of a Liturgy of the Word, this year’s service will include music from Ensemble Vocal Ganymède (a Montreal gay men’s choir), a testimony from an LGBTQ+ refugee, and cold refreshments (ice cream, freezies, and iced tea) on the forecourt after the service. Sunday, August 2 at 6:30 p.m. – Ecumenical Service - Holy Eucharist at the Roman Catholic church in Rougemont - Misa en español for seasonal migrant workers. You are all welcome.

Veuillez apporter une chaise pliante ou de jardin si vous en avez une !

La révérende Tami Spires dirigera le culte, suivi d'un temps de partage. N'hésitez pas à apporter quelque chose à partager. Des boissons seront offertes.

Lors de ce temps de partage, nous espérons discuter des possibilités d'action pour notre communauté. Nous avons reçu de nombreuses suggestions de la part des membres et nous les examinerons plus en détail. Comme nous ne nous réunissons pas régulièrement pour le culte, il est important pour nous de profiter de ce moment ensemble pour réfléchir à la direction que nous souhaitons donner à notre église.

We hope that you are enjoying this beautiful summer weather!

A service of worship is being planned for next month – details as follows:

When: Sunday, August 2, 2026

Time: 2:30 p.m.

Where: Pinewood Cemetery

In case of rain: 166 Cowie, Unit 101

Please bring a folding or garden chair if you have one!

Reverend Tami Spires will conduct worship, and a time of fellowship will follow. Feel free to bring something to share. Beverages will be provided.

During fellowship, we hope to discuss the possibilities for our congregational outreach. We have received quite a few suggestions from members, and we will look at these more closely. As we don’t worship or meet regularly, it is important for us to take advantage of our time together to look at the direction we wish the church to take as we move forward.

Should you have questions, please feel free to contact us.

We hope to see you there. Bring a friend – as you know, the Pinewood setting is among the most beautiful locations in Granby!



And remember – the church is wherever God’s people are praising!
