September 5/6 is a Family Weekend at Northview 🤍

This weekend, kids will join their families in the main service as we worship together across generations. It's a special opportunity for students, parents, grandparents, and children to gather as one church family.

We know it might feel a little different (and a little busy!), but there's something meaningful about growing in faith together.

Please note: There will be no regular programs from Nursery–Grade 5 this weekend. We will resume as normal September 12/13

✨ Come Work With Us at Northview Kids! ✨

Are you looking for a team that is fun, welcoming, intentional, and passionate about Jesus? We’d love for you to consider joining the Northview Kids team! 💛

We have a few exciting opportunities available in our Children’s Ministry department:

1. Central Abbotsford Grade School Coordinator
A great part-time opportunity for someone who loves teaching, connecting with children, and building meaningful relationships with kids and their parents.

2. Weekday Childcare Team
Looking for a few hours of work during the week? Come hang out with our babies, toddlers, and preschoolers while their moms attend Bible Study!

3. Chilliwack Children’s Ministry Coordinator
Looking for a full-time role? This position involves organizing volunteers and classrooms, preparing lessons, teaching, and helping oversee the many moving pieces of Children’s Ministry. It’s a wonderful fit for someone who loves Jesus, loves people, is organized, and enjoys a role with lots of variety and responsibility.

If you've been looking for a place to use your gifts, serve others, and join a team that truly cares about Jesus, kids, families and one another, we'd love to hear from you!

Over the last three weeks, we had the incredible privilege of welcoming 500+ kids from 300+ families to our Cosmic Quest Day Camp at our Downes Road location! Many of these children are part of our Northview family, while many others stepped through our doors for the very first time.

What an amazing few weeks it has been:
✨ 200+ volunteers served faithfully
🎶 80+ times singing songs together
🩹 40+ Band-Aids handed out
📖 80 Bible lessons shared

There was no shortage of fun and laughter. But what we're most thankful for is seeing many children put their faith in Jesus and express a desire to follow Him.

It has been a joy to have front-row seats to see God at work in the hearts of these kids. Our prayer is that they leave camp remembering more than just the fun, that they would remember the truth of the gospel and what Christ accomplished on the cross.

Would you join us in praying for every child who attended camp this year? Pray that they would continue to grow in their desire to know and honor God, and that they would give thanks to the greatest God of all, whose faithful love endures forever.

We're looking forward to another amazing weekend at Northview Kids!

If you're planning to join us this weekend at our Downes Road location, we wanted to give you a quick heads-up. With it being summer, many of our incredible Children's Ministry volunteers are away on vacation, so we're a little short on volunteers.

Because of this, some classrooms may not be able to open, and we expect a few classes to reach capacity and have waitlists. We kindly ask that you come prepared for the possibility that your child may need to stay in the service with you.

Our team will do everything we can to welcome and accommodate as many children as possible, and we appreciate your patience, flexibility, and understanding. Thank you for partnering with us, we can't wait to see your family this weekend!

What an incredible first week of Day Camp at our Central Abbotsford Campus!

From singing songs, enjoying puppet skits, and playing games to an exciting day at Cultus Adventure Park, there were so many smiles and unforgettable moments throughout the week. But the greatest highlight of all was seeing kids learn more about Jesus.

We are so thankful for the gift this week has been. It was a joy to witness young lives being impacted, including children who heard the gospel for the very first time. God is at work in the hearts of these little ones, and we are grateful to have a front-row seat to what He is doing.

Would you join us in praying for every child who attended camp? Pray that the truths they learned would take root in their hearts and continue to transform their lives through the power of the gospel.

July 4/5 is a Family Weekend at Northview 🤍
This weekend, instead of our regular programming, we invite kids to join their families and sit together as we gather, students, parents, and grandparents, to worship Jesus as one church family.

We recognize that this can be really difficult depending on your kids personalities, age, and sheer attention span… But there’s something deeply formative about singing, learning, and responding to God side by side across generations.
Bring your kids to the main service and lets worship together!

*None of our regular programs are running from Nursery - Grade 5*

This special weekend is an opportunity for families to worship together. Children of all ages are invited to join their parents in the service. Please note that there will be no Children's Ministry programs available, including nursery.

✨ Serve With Us! ✨

Do you have a heart for kids and a passion for helping families feel welcomed and cared for? We'd love to have you join the Northview Kids Serve Team!

Right now, we're especially looking for volunteers to serve at our Check-Ins Desk for our Saturday 4pm service and Sunday 9am service at Downes Road. This role is so much more than handing out name tags—it's often the very first interaction a family has when they walk through our doors. Your smile, kindness, and willingness to help can make all the difference in helping children and parents feel safe, known, and excited to be here.

As a Check-Ins volunteer, you'll:
• Welcome new and returning families
• Create family profiles and assist with registration
• Help children get connected to their classrooms
• Monitor the check-in area to ensure a safe and smooth experience for everyone

You don't need special experience—just a friendly face and a willingness to serve.
