AGM Lunch/Grad Trip Fundraiser

After Sunday morning’s service we will be having our Annual General Meeting. Before that though, we have a lunch in the gym. The meal is by donation. The main food will be catered. The desserts have been prepared by some of our young people, their families, and others in the congregation. Some of our Grade 12 are going on a Grad trip to celebrate finishing High School and their time in our Youth Ministry. The trip is in partnership with our sister church, Peace Portal Alliance. The trip is to Disneyland in California and will be taking place in the first part of July. So half of your donation will go to covering the cost of the meal and the other half is a fundraiser for this trip. If you have any questions about the trip, please connect with Pastor Zach.

Good Friends

Our seniors gather monthly (on the third Thursday of the month) at 10:30am for an event called Good Friends. Most gatherings include encouragement from a guest speaker and a hymn sing.

This month’s theme is: Responsibilities in the post career phase of our lives.

No registration necessary.

Got questions about life, faith, God or more? Our Young Adult Ministry is running an Alpha for anyone who is 18-30 years old. It starts at 6:30pm on Tuesday, March 10 in the Community Room (entrance at the back of the church building). We’ll be having food (pizza at this first gathering), watching an Alpha video and have small group discussion. Divorce Care is a program for those who maybe seperated or divorced. Divorce Care is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions and challenges of seperation and divorce. Over 13 weeks, participants will find relief and comfort as they learn what to expect in the days ahead and how to navigate their personal healing journey.

Divorce Care will start Monday, March 2nd at 6:30pm and meet in the Community Room at Sevenoaks Church (go to back parking lot to enter building). For more information or to register yourself click on the registration button on the home page of our website. You will also be able to access all the videos and further Divorce Care information.

Doors open at 5:30pm for Games Night. Bring a favorite game and/or treat to share with others. The gym will also be open for Gaga Ball.

Great to worship with our friends at the Abbotsford Vietnamese Alliance Church opening ceremony. Excited to see how this new venture grows and reaches the Vietnamese community of Abbotsford. Sevenoaks is thrilled to be a founding partner of this New Venture
