Youth Unlimited in Abbotsford Connecting youth. Transforming lives. Our Big Picture: Youth Unlimited is a part of a worldwide organization known as Youth for Christ.

Our Team: We seek to be a close-knit team of volunteers, prayer/financial partners, and staff who join together in serving young people and their families. Our City’s Need: Our youth workers know far too many youth in Abbotsford who are growing up in high risk environments filled with drug addiction, bullying, physical and sexual abuse, parental neglect, sexual confusion, and spiritual darkness. O

ur Unique Approach: We use our unique abilities in innovative ways to respond in love to the spiritual, social, physical and mental needs of youth. We enter the world of young people to build transformative communities where all are unconditionally accepted and accompanied in life’s journey. Billy Graham was our first full time youth worker in the 1940s. Today, we serve in over 100 countries and have over 40 staff serving in 8 cities within the Lower Mainland. Our Future: In Abbotsford, we are building toward a team of 10 full time staff and 100 volunteers. We seek to reach more youth and help them experience deeper levels of transformation in their lives. Our priority is to reach more pockets of young people and families across Abbotsford so we are always searching for new youth workers and volunteers. Our Costs: As a non-profit organization, we invite individuals and organizations to partner with us by contributing toward one of our youth ministry contexts or our office which provides the infrastructure for our youth workers to do what they do best.

This week, we said goodbye to one of our Youth Unlimited youth workers, Kathlyn Jarvis, as she moves to Vancouver Island to begin a new chapter.

For the past two years, Kathlyn has faithfully invested in the lives of youth through Youth Unlimited's partnerships with Grace Church and Fraser Middle School in East Abbotsford. Her love for Jesus, thoughtful leadership, and genuine care have left a lasting impact on the students, volunteers, and families she served.

As I said goodbye to Kathlyn at our Grace Youth farewell on Saturday, I have to admit my eyes got a little misty. We'll miss you, Kathlyn, and we're praying God's richest blessings as you settle into your new home and all that God has for you. ❤️

☀️ Summer is in full swing, and so is the fun!

Over the past couple of weeks, we've been making memories with local youth—from cooling off at beautiful Stave Lake to tackling the Abby Grind together! 🌊🥾

While these adventures are full of laughter, challenges, and great conversations, they're about so much more than the activities themselves. Every hike, every swim, and every shared meal is an opportunity to build trusted relationships with young people and remind them that they are seen, valued, and loved.

At Youth Unlimited, we believe connection changes lives. Thank you to everyone who supports our ministry and makes moments like these possible. Your encouragement and generosity help us invest in the lives of youth throughout our community.

☀️ Summer is in full swing, and so is the fun!

Over the past couple of weeks, we've been making memories with local youth—from cooling off at beautiful Stave Lake to tackling the Abby Grind together! 🌊🥾

While these adventures are full of laughter, challenges, and great conversations, they're about so much more than the activities themselves. An encouraging trend we're seeing among the youth we serve is a growing interest in the Bible. We've had several young people—many with no church background—ask for Bibles, and we've been excited to put them into their hands.

That made the recent YFC/Youth Unlimited National Ministry Conference especially meaningful. Wes Huff from Apologetics Canada spoke on the trustworthiness and credibility of the Bible, reinforcing the importance of helping young people explore the foundations of the Christian faith with confidence. Andy Steiger also challenged us to engage thoughtfully with cultural influences, including AI, that are shaping the next generation.
