This week in The Story Mark Tells, we return to stories we began in chapters 1-4. Beginning in Mark 5:1, we read a strange story of Jesus helping a man who had become victim to an impure spirit. But the way Jesus helps is strange, or at least it is to us! It involved pigs! Try not to get too caught up with the question of the value of pigs — focus on the question that Jesus raises in this narrative: the value of people.
