International Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Fatima Tour The world-famous International Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Fatima is recognized as the primary way in which the message of Fatima spread throughout the world and continues today. Sculpted by Jose Thedim, the "Michelangelo of Portugal," the statue has been traveling internationally since 1947 and will be at St. James Parish on Monday, April 15 beginning with Statue arrival at 8:30am followed by Mass at 9am. 10am onwards– visits throughout the day;
11:30am and 1:00pm Elementary school to visit.
7:00pm Holy Hour followed by Enrolment in the Brown Scapular.

Last Saturday we had our inaugural St. James Spiritual Pilgrimage! We had 15 pilgrims that journeyed 5 kms from Rotary Stadium parking lot, along the Discovery Trail to St. James Parish. It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining, there was lots of shade along the trail, and there was a glorious breeze each time we stopped at various points to pray a decade of the Rosary. Thank you Mike Girard for organizing and all those who participated. The pilgrimage was, of course, followed by Mass and the pilgrims shared a meal together afterwards.

St. James Parish in Abbotsford is beginning an annual Spiritual Pilgrimage in honour of St. James the Great. This year it will take place on Saturday, July 22 starting at 2pm at Rotary Stadium in Abbotsford. The pilgrimage will go from Rotary Stadium to St. James Parish on Townline, and will be approximately 5kms long.
Pilgrims will meet at 1:30pm and leave by 2pm. The pilgrimage will be followed by Mass, a meal, a talk, and more.
