Last Sunday, we gathered after the service at St. Matthew’s for our annual Blessing of the Animals, giving thanks for the creatures who share our homes, our routines, and so much of our daily life.
It was a simple and joyful time together as a parish, and a good reminder that care, gratitude, and blessing belong in the ordinary parts of life too.

Last Sunday, September 13, we gathered for our annual Welcome Back BBQ at St. Matthew Anglican Church as we celebrated the end of summer and the beginning of another season together.

Thank you to everyone who came, and a special thank-you to Fr. James Hwang and all those who helped set up, cook, serve, and clean. Events like this only happen because people generously give their time and energy.

It was a good afternoon of food, conversation, and reconnecting as a parish community!
