St. Ann's Roman Catholic Parish Abbotsford Office hours are Mon-Fri 9 am - 5 pm (closed 2--3:00pm for lunch)This group is for the encouragement Joachim means “God grants”, while Ann means “grace”.

St Anne & St Joachim are the Parents of the Blessed Virgin Mary. A tradition that began in the Second century gives these names to the parents of the BVM. So virtue and grace mingle powerfully in this couple’s life. Through their intercession many graces may be granted to us! Happy feast day to you all! er of God. Thus, devotion to Ann and Joachim is an extension of the affection Christians have always shown toward our Blessed Mother. We, too, owe a debt of gratitude to our parents for their help in our Christian formation. Praised be Joachim and Ann for the child they bore. The Lord gave them the blessing of all the nations.

Pope Leo XIV has invited the faithful around the world to unite in prayer for peace through a special Vigil for Peace at St. Peter’s Basilica this Saturday at 6:00 pm Rome time (9:00 am Vancouver time). In a world marked by conflict and suffering, this Vigil is an opportunity for us to come together in prayer, asking the Lord to soften hearts, guide leaders, and bring an end to war. APRIL 3 – GOOD FRIDAY – PASSION OF THE LORD
9:00 am – 10:00 am Confessions
11:00 am Outdoor Way of the Cross led by young adults (English)
1:00 pm – 2:00 pm Confessions
3:00 pm Passion of the Lord, Veneration of Cross, Communion (English)
Poor Man’s Supper (after 3pm Service)
4:30 pm Passion of the Lord, Veneration of Cross, Communion (Spanish) and way of the cross led by Latino community

APRIL 4 – HOLY SATURDAY EASTER VIGIL
Confessions 10:00 am to 11:00 am
11:00 am Blessing of Easter Foods followed by meal

ATTENTION 2026 GRADS: You have the opportunity to obtain one of two $1000 bursaries from St. Ann's CWL. These are for qualified students entering post secondary education. The money can be used towards tuition, residence, books or etc. Application forms are available from the parish office. The deadline for submitting is April 30th, 2026.
