13th April, Sunday PRAY THE WORD
Prophetic Word of The Day:
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with
thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of
God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds
through Christ Jesus.”- Philippians 4:6-7 (NKJV) Revelation:
A person who prays the word is more powerful than a person who just
prays. Matthew 6:7-8 cautions:
“And when you pray, do not babble on like pagans, for they think that by
their many words they will be heard. Do not be like them, for your Father
knows what you need before you ask Him.” Prayer without the word, has
no power. When you plug your device into a power outlet, the electrical
current runs through the cables and supplies power to that device.
Thus, the cables are not power; they simply direct power to the device.
Prayer is like the cable. It is not the source of power. It directs power to
where you want God to manifest His promises.
Now, a person full of God’s word will be driven to prayer. The word in you
ignites your spirit to erupt in prayer, and through your tongue, which has
the power of life and death you speak the word of God. A wordless
Christian is a powerless Christian. Their prayer lacks power. The Greek
word for prayer is “proseuché” which means communication with God.
