Acts 2:42, reveals the 4 essential practices that characterised the early church and enabled it to grow spiritually. They continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine, and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayer.
These 4 pillars led to spiritual growth, unity and God's blessing, as seen in the verses that follow (Acts 2:43-47).
Acts 1:14, serves as the doorway to Pentecost. Before the power of Acts 2:1-4, came the unity, prayer, perseverance and expectancy of Acts 1:14.
Chuches that desire a fresh move of the Holy Spirit, should cultivate these same qualities, trusting God to fulfil His promises in Jesus name.
