God is merciful

Preaching
Message: Do not allow sin to control your life

Romans 7: 14-
14 For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am made out of flesh, sold into sin’s power.
15 For I do not understand what I am doing, because I do not practice what I want to do, but I do what I hate. 16 And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree with the law that it is good. 17 So now I am no longer the one doing it, but it is a sin living in me.

You are doing wrong because you are bound to sin. What you want to do, you find yourself not doing but doing what you hate the most. Do not allow yourself to be controlled by sin. You are doing what you hate the most because it is no longer you living in your body, but sin has taken over. As an individual, you always try hard to change your life. You even tell yourself that i will improve and do better, but before you know it, you have already committed what you do not want to do. Apostle Paul said that for it is no longer I but sin living in me, do not allow sin to live in you.

Pray harder, command sin to depart from you. You should know that you are a spirit being, meditate upon the word of God, and do not be controlled by sin. Do not be canaly minded as a believer because if you do, you will always find yourself being trapped by sin and the things of the flesh. Resist sin (devil), and he shall flee away from you. As believers in Christ, do not allow yourself to be controlled by sin. And do not depart from the presence of God. You shall never be a slave to sin. Always be on guard!
