The Fear Of God.
Revelation 14
6 Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people—
7 saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.”
A nation that fears God is a nation helped by God.
Daniel 7
14 Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, Which shall not pass away, And His kingdom the one Which shall not be destroyed.
Matthew 28:18-19
What are the dangers of not fearing God. It leads to...
1. Death of conscious
2. Darkened heart
3. Death of moral retrain
4. None obedience to the law
The benefits of Fearing God.
1. Leviticus 19:3 ‘Every one of you shall revere his mother and his father, and keep My Sabbaths: I am the Lord your God.
2. 2 Corinthians 5
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
11 Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are well known to God, and I also trust are well known in your consciences.
3. Fear God and shun evil.
Job 1:1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God and shunned evil.
