SUNDAY SERVICE OF THE HAND OF GOD WITH APOSTLE M. DANIEL

‎Psalms 3
‎
‎As Christians, we must learn to value greatness so that we can also walk in it. Gratitude changes everything — when we appreciate, we stop fighting and striving for things because they begin to come naturally. But when we lack appreciation, we push our blessings and miracles further away.
‎
‎Many of us remain stuck because we fail to honor our parents, relatives, and even the people God places around us. What hurts even more is when we fail to appreciate God Himself. After He blesses us, we don’t return to thank Him. But the moment that blessing faces trouble, we immediately say “it’s the devil.” We become quick to notice the enemy and slow to notice God — and that reveals who we’re aligned with.
‎
‎We see what appreciation can do in the story of Peter. He was locked in prison, yet an angel led him past a steel gate to freedom. Why? Because Peter honored the One above. Appreciation opens doors that struggle cannot.
‎
‎Psalms 3
‎V 1 Lord, how they have increased who trouble me! Many are they who rise up against me.
‎V 2 Many are they who say of me, “There is no help for him in God.” Selah
‎
‎This was David running from his own son who had taken the throne. His son sent soldiers to chase him, and even his people turned against him and supported the son instead.
‎
‎Many of us face the same rejection and pressure, but we don’t come to God honestly. At first David also complained to the Father, thinking that was how to get His attention. He was praying from a place of fear.
‎
‎V 3 But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head.
‎
‎Here David shifts. He moves from fear to faith. He stops complaining and starts declaring who God is to him — a Father, a shield, his glory. He moves from focusing on the problem to appreciating God.
‎
‎From faith he now walks in trust.
‎
‎V 5 I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the Lord sustained me.
‎
‎In verse 5 we see real assurance. Fear is gone.
‎
‎V 6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people Who have set themselves against me all around.
‎
‎This is a man who now understands his position in the Lord and who the Lord is to him. He moves from complaining to reminding himself of God’s character.
‎
‎Let’s learn from this. Come to the Lord in worship. When our praise goes up, His glory comes down. There must be more appreciation in our lives than complaint.
