APOSTLE M. DANIEL MINISTRIES
‎SUNDAY SERVICE WITH PASTOR LESEGO DANIEL

‎THE POWER OF FORGIVENESS

‎God wants us to forgive. Many times, we go through trials, disappointments, and difficult situations, yet we struggle to let go of the pain. Unforgiveness can hold our prosperity and progress hostage, causing our lives to go in circles because we continue carrying the weight of past hurts.

‎The enemy often creates distractions that cause us to become angry and focus all our energy on the emotions of the moment. When anger and bitterness remain in our hearts for too long, they can affect our peace, our relationships, our spiritual growth, and our ability to move forward. Forgiveness is the process of releasing the pain, anger, bitterness, and emotional burden into the hands of God.

‎When we refuse to forgive, we may think we are hurting the person who offended us, but in reality, we continue carrying the pain ourselves. The person who caused the hurt may have moved on, while we remain trapped in the situation. Bitterness becomes like poison within us, consuming our peace and affecting us more than the person who caused the offence.

‎Many times, we cry because of the situations and trials we experience, but we fail to surrender the bitterness to God. God calls us to release that pain and allow Him to deal with what we cannot control. Instead of allowing anger to rule our hearts, we must allow God's love to overcome it. The anger in our hearts, minds, and spirits must be replaced with love.

‎Colossians 3:13 teaches us to bear with one another and forgive one another. We are called to imitate Christ, who has forgiven us repeatedly. When we have a complaint against someone, we are instructed to forgive rather than allow the offence to become a source of bitterness.

‎In Matthew 18:21–22, Peter asked Jesus how many times he should forgive someone who had offended him. Jesus' response demonstrated that forgiveness should not be limited or treated as a mathematical calculation. We should not keep a record of how many times someone has hurt us or how many times we have forgiven them. We are called to develop a heart that is always willing to forgive.

‎Romans 12:19 teaches us not to take revenge but to leave vengeance to God. We must surrender our pain, our anger, and our desire for personal revenge and trust God's ultimate justice. We do not have to fight every battle ourselves because God sees what happened and knows how to deal with it.

‎Ephesians 4:32 instructs us to be kind, tender-hearted, and compassionate toward one another, forgiving each other just as God has forgiven us through Christ. Forgiveness should therefore be expressed through our actions and attitudes, not merely spoken with our lips.
‎Sometimes unforgiveness enters our lives because we have walked through seasons of uncertainty and have struggled to trust God. When we truly trust God, we can surrender the situation to Him and believe that He will take care of what concerns us.

‎Forgiveness does not mean that what happened was right, nor does it mean that we have forgotten the pain. It means that we choose not to remain prisoners of what happened. We release the person, the situation, and the pain into God's hands and allow Him to bring healing.

‎We must forgive so that we can continue to walk rightly with God. If unforgiveness is not released, bitterness can take root within us and continue to affect our lives. But when we forgive, we give God room to heal our hearts and restore our peace.

‎PRINCIPLES OF FORGIVENESS

‎Forgiveness is an act of worship.
‎Forgiveness is an act of obedience.
‎Forgiveness is an act of love.
‎Forgiveness is an act of trusting God with justice.

‎The Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6:9–13 also reminds us of the importance of forgiveness. As we ask God to forgive us, we are expected to extend forgiveness to others.

‎Therefore, do not allow unforgiveness to become a prison. Do not allow someone else's actions to control your peace, your future, or your relationship with God. Give the pain to God and allow Him to deal with the situation.

‎Forgive, not because the person deserves it, but because you deserve to be free.
‎Release the anger. Release the bitterness. Release the pain. Trust God with the rest.

‎FORGIVENESS IS POWERFUL!

‎UNFORGIVENESS IS DANGEROUS!

LOYALITY,PAINFUL PROCESS BUT REWARDING

Proverbs 17:17
A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.

When the lights are on, the crowd is clapping, and the blessings are flowing everyone looks loyal. But when it’s dry, broke, quiet, and no one’s watching... that’s when loyalty is weighed.
