"AS YOURSELF" is the key most people skip. You cannot pour out what you don’t have. The command assumes you already love, forgive, and care for yourself. So God’s deepest intention here is healing first. He wants you whole, so your wholeness overflows to others. A wounded person cannot fulfill the law.

God isn’t asking you to try harder to keep the law. He’s asking you to become love, because love has already kept it.
