Prayer for Revelation

Almighty God, you sit enthroned on praises (Psalm 22:3). I thank you that no matter what I am thinking, feeling or going through, you are always King. You always have the answers and are ready to answer when I call you.

Father, I call on you now. The waves are high and my ship is rocking. The wind is blowing and the rain is coming down hard. I have so many things in my mind and I am trying not to go into panic, but I am failing.

I need you, Father. Guide my steps. I give the rest of my journey over to you. It’s my desire to live an upright life. I want to glorify you in all I think, do and say.

I give my next steps, thoughts and words over to you.

Take the helm, Lord.

Forgive me Father for thinking I could ever do this on my own. I need you today and everyday.

Please open up my mind to understand your will (Luke 24:45)

Activate my spiritual senses so that I have the eyes to see and the ears to hear your words (Matthew 13:9).

Speak to me, Lord. I want to hear your voice, loudly and clearly. So if there is anything in the way of that, I rebuke and bind it up in Jesus’s mighty name.

Remove the scales from my eyes (Acts 9:18) so that I can see you more clearly than I ever have before.

I am ready to do your will.

Please give me the wisdom and understanding that I need to carry it out. (James 1:5)

Speak, Lord, your servant is listening (1 Samuel 3:10)

I ask all this in Jesus’s night unmatched name.
