Hearing The Word Of God, Rom.10:17
Believing God and His Word, Heb.11:6
Repenting Of One's Sins, Luke 13:3&5
Confessing One's Faith In Christ, Acts 8:37, Matt.10:32
Being Baptized In Water For The Remission Of One's Sins, Acts 2:38.

As long as these are done sincerely from the heart according to the Bible, at this point you become a Christian and the Lord will ADD you to the church, Acts 2:47. After obeying the gospel, you must be faithful unto death, Revelation 2:10.

WHY ARGUING ABOUT THE TRINITY IS USELESS

Most arguments that I've heard or read about the Trinity involve a brother using his choice verses while conveniently ignoring the choice verses of his opponent. The fact that more brethren do not see the pettiness and childishness of this is very troubling.

If you want to teach that Jesus is the Father, then use Isaiah 9:6, I John 5:7 and John 10:30. If you want to teach that He isn't, then use Matthew 27:46 and John 17:1-5.

If you want to teach that Jesus was begotten at His birth, then use Hebrews 1:5-6. If you want to teach that He was begotten at his resurrection, then use Acts 13:33. If you want to teach that He was begotten in eternity, then ignore both of those references and use Psalm 2:7 alone and pretend that eternity is the context.

If you want to baptize in the name of Jesus, then ignore Matthew 28 and use the book of Acts only while pretending that the "name of Jesus" is all three, the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. If you want to stick strictly to the Mattthew 28 great commission, then play the "D" card and say that Acts deals mostly with the gospel to Israel so being baptized in Jesus' name was a dispensational thing for Israel only.

The point is that IT NEVER ENDS! The simple fact is that no one fully understands the Trinity doctrine, just as no one understands "where God came from" or "how He's just always been there." We can understand it and explain it to a point, but then we'll stop, if we're wise. When we keep going, it usually ends up with my verses against his verses, etc. Silly game that I'd rather not play. I'll just try to remain humble enough to say that my understanding of the Trinity is good enough, but LIMITED. But that's okay, because my faith in what God said about it is NOT limited.

God asks us to give Him everything, but He has given us so much more. He gave us His Son, and with Him, all things. When we feel overwhelmed by the challenges of faith, we must remember that God has promised us the power to do all He asks. He has given us more than everything.

We know that we live in him and he lives in us because he has given us his Spirit.We have seen and testify to the fact that the Father sent his Son as the Savior of the world. God lives in those who declare that Jesus is the Son of God, and they live in God.

Dear friends, we must love each other because love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born from God and knows God. The person who doesn't love doesn't know God, because God is love.

Jesus was not the Savior who fitted people’s expectations. The religious leaders of his time started to get upset with him. They did not want to accept that he was the promised Messiah, the Son of God. They resented the fact that many people loved listening to Jesus rather than to them. They hated him for claiming to be the Son of God, for forgiving sins (only God can do that) and for healing people on the Sabbath, the sacred day of rest. Many times they tried to make Jesus say things that would get him into trouble, but he always saw the trap. At last the religious leaders started to make plans to put Jesus to death and be done with him forever.
