THE REVELATION OF CHRIST: SEEING BEYOND THE PHYSICAL

Child of God, there is a massive difference between hearing about Jesus and truly knowing Him through the power of the Holy Spirit. In Matthew 16:13โ17, Jesus asked His disciples, "Who do people say the Son of Man is?" When He pressed them further, Peter answered with a life-altering declaration: "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." Jesus made it clear that flesh and blood did not reveal this to Peter, but His Father in heaven. Many believers today are just like the crowdโwalking around Jesus, sitting in church every Sunday, hearing powerful messages, and even witnessing the move of God, yet completely lacking a personal revelation of who He is.
We must be extremely mindful of what we allow to shape our understanding of God. Sometimes, people approach God carrying the opinions and biases of other people, past disappointments and hurts, and unresolved confusion or wrong mindsets. These heavy baggage items can blind you to what God is currently doing in your life. Furthermore, before God can take you to your next level, He has to strip away the things that cannot cross over with youโunhealthy attachments, wrong attitudes, and every weight holding you back. Surrender completely to His pruning process today.
Your faith is not truly tested when everything is peaceful and running smoothly. True faith shines brightest right in the midst of the storm. When circumstances try to make you doubt whether God is still working, do not abandon your post. Continue to honor Him, stay rooted, and remember that the storm may be loud, but God has never stopped being God, and there is glorious light waiting for you just beyond this season.
As 1 Corinthians 2:10 declares, "But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God." Some spiritual truths and divine directions cannot be unlocked through human intellect or reasoning; you desperately need the Holy Spirit. A prayerless life leads to spiritual dullness, making you vulnerable to pressure and confusion, while a vibrant prayer life and consistent fellowship with the Word build your spiritual sensitivity. When you are led by the Spirit, even difficult thingsโlike forgiveness and obedienceโbecome natural because your heart is completely shaped by His presence.
The ultimate goal is not merely to be around the presence of God; the goal is to know God, recognize His voice, and allow His Spirit to lead your every step. Pursue a genuine, personal encounter with Jesus rather than second-hand knowledge, seek His face instead of only looking for what His hand can provide, and let Him clear out any hindrances keeping you from your next level. Keep your faith strong when it is tested, cultivate your relationship with the Holy Spirit through prayer and the Word, and watch Him transform your walk.
