𝑫𝑹𝑼𝑮𝑺 𝑨𝑵𝑫 𝑺𝑼𝑩𝑺𝑻𝑨𝑵𝑪𝑬 𝑼𝑺𝑬

Yesterday at Nyorosi SDA Church during Sabbath School...Workshops were conducted under the theme..."Drug and Substance Use". The Church was divided into 3 groups, namely ; Pathfinders, Ambassadors, and Adults. This groups were led by Facilitators, Bro. Lechezane Mopalo, Bro. Abotle Kearilwe and Bro. Gobe Monyadzwe.

Bro. Abotle explored from a theological point of view, Keys To Victory.He showed from the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy how to overcome in any situation, showing that victory is possible especially to someone who might be suffering from any addiction or guilt.

Moreover, Bro. Gobe Monyadzwe explored current realities surrounding drugs and substance use and showed how medical missionary work can be of aid in such situations.

Lastly, Bro. Lechezane explored the definition, predisposing factors, and effects of Drugs and Substance Use.

After the workshops were completed, all groups came inside the church to hear a testimony by Bro. Boatametse Moilwenyane, who shared how his life of drug and substance use was and how God came through for him through a book, Steps To Christ.Furthermore, he relayed the joy, liberty, fulfilment he is now enjoying in a purposeful life surrended to Christ.

Nyorosi SDA Church wrapped up their 10 days of prayer with a beautiful baptism led by Ps. Mothusi Moeti reminding us of the words of Jesus in John 3:5 ~ "Verily, verily I say unto you, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God" 🙌

After baptism, those who took this step were admonished by the words of Jesus to Peter, by Ps. Mothusi Moeti

“31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: 32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. ”
Luke 22:31-32

Ps. Mothusi Moeti admonished the new belivers that Satan desires to sift them much more after this decision that they have taken.Howerever, he encouraged them to hold on to the faith because Christ, their friend, prayed for them.

Hence this year’s theme “To the End” this shall be our song through the ages. As Nyorosi Youth, this Reunion we say

“To the end His heart is faithful
To the end His hand is able
To the end we can now follow, for He bore the cross

To the end this witness we will bear

We will stay here in the hollow of His care🙏🏾
