John 9:21-25
But how he can see now, or who opened his eyes, we don’t know. Ask him. He is of age; he will speak for himself.” His parents said this because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders, who already had decided that anyone who acknowledged that Jesus was the Messiah would be put out of the synagogue. That was why his parents said, “He is of age; ask him.” A second time they summoned the man who had been blind. “Give glory to God by telling the truth,” they said. “We know this man is a sinner.” He replied, “Whether he is a sinner or not, I don’t know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!”
This is a story of blind man the bible says after Jesus healed him he came to the pharisees and the pharisees questioned the healing that happened because Jesus healed the blind man in sabbath. They asked how come you can heal in sabbath but the blind man said one thing that I know is that I can see, what I didn't do before now I can do. They are people that if they can know only one thing, everything about them is settled.There is a particular knowledge that when you possess it makes you complete. What the blind man was looking for was healing the moment he got healed he declared that one thing that i know was that I was blind but today I can see. What I wanted to encounter for the many days I have received it. What the blind man was looking for was not everything, it was only for one thing there are people who need only one thing ,if I can receive that thing, I know I am complete, so we can learn from blind man. Bible says when they came to him to question his healing he told them that one thing that I know is that what I did not have today I have it, sometimes we have to relay only on one thing if the Lord can appear to my case and change something in my life it can be that one thing that can make me to recognize God over my life either persecution can arise if I can know only one thing.
The intervention of God in the case of a blind man made him know one thing that came with healing because he came to him to reveal the sight, what prophets do is to reveal things that are hidden. The blind says he is a prophet because of the revelation that Jesus brought to him.The blind man was blind when Jesus came his eyes were open that is a revelation of Jesus when he comes, he comes as light that brings us to discovering what we didn't know,what we didn't have now we have it. When Jesus comes to a scene he comes to transform what was not able that's why the bible says his Grace it is to come to enable us. Grace of the Lord means the ability of God.when we are dimmed he came to open our eyes. Whenever Jesus appears eyes open, people begin to discover things that were difficult for them.
May you discover God's purpose over your life that will make you never run away from God's purpose.
Everyone who has to discover God's purpose over their life must know one thing that sometimes it may look like its suffering when God has prepared a big destiny ,some of suffering is not that God is not there it is only a path that leads to greatness.
Pray for yourself, ask God to appear in your life in order for you to discover that one thing that will open your eyes! like a blind man, something that after receiving it you will never see things the way you used to see them.
