*Where are we supposed to focus as Christians?*

Colossians 3:1-3
[1]Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand.
[2]Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.
[3]For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God.

The kind of a doctrine a preacher teach or preach determines the focus of his congregation,according to the epistle of Paul to the church in Colossa quoted above in chapter 3,there are two placed where our focus can be placed; a.in Heaven where Christ seats and b.on the things of this earth.

The only message that can make a Christian focus on the above things is of the cross(salvation),that is why when Christ was crucified he was taken outside the city of Jerusalem to a place called Golgotha,which is a high place(semi hill), and he was crucified on a tall tree(the cross) so that anyone who want to look at him must lift their eyes....

Now the common doctrine and gospel of prosperity,wealth and material things is enticing and seducing belivers to focus on the things of this world which Is against the Will and Word of God,belivers are always thinking about financial breakthrough,about receiving a husband,wife,car,house etc,out focus is here on our feet not above....

So any preacher who is preaching the gospel that is seducing belivers to be excited and focus on the worldly things is not sent by Christ bcs he is not doing the mandate and Will of Christ but rather doing something contrary,something that is pleasing the ruler of this world(Beelzbul and mammonic goddesses)....

THE ROOT OF OUR PROBLEM

Most of our problem will never end because we are running away from the truth that deliver us which is the finished work of Christ.They is no solution outside the word of God as a child of God and the word of God is our daily manual that guide our life in Christ.

Sometimes when l see series of deliverance church services advertised every Sunday ,breakthrough service,feet washing,breaking of alter,curse breaking,financial breakthrough,marriage breakthrough l think its time to replace all this deliverance services with the word of God.

Many of you will agree with me that we have been in this gospel for a very long period of time and it is not revealing the finished work of Christ, it only gives false hope and it also keep a believer in bo***ge of fear.l wish one day we can have a series of church services named,life after the cross,life before the cross,salvation,overcoming sin consciousness ,deliverance.

I always say the right teaching makes a believer victorious,let me take a simple example,relationship in general are in trouble,cheating in marriage is common and its like its a competition.

Most of our marriage is not rooted in Christ but rooted in the world culture that were our problem is,the world culture is running our marriage,we hear from the world instead of hearing from the word of God,sometimes l hear people saying marry your best friend,they is nothing wrong with saying that but is it biblical?,what does the bible say about marriage.

People of God if we are still running away from the finished work of Christ we will never arrive,we will attend all this deliverance services from January to December with no result,

*Prejudice In The Church*

Def:1 : a liking or dislike for one rather than another especially without good reason She has a prejudice against department stores. 2 : a feeling of unfair dislike directed against an individual or a group because of some characteristic (as race or religion) 3 : injury or damage to a person's rights.

Biblically prejudice means discrimination influenced by the gap between the rich and the poor....

James 2:1-5
[1]My dear brothers and sisters, how can you claim to have faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ if you favor some people over others?
[2]For example, suppose someone comes into your meeting dressed in fancy clothes and expensive jewelry, and another comes in who is poor and dressed in dirty clothes.
[3]If you give special attention and a good seat to the rich person, but you say to the poor one, “You can stand over there, or else sit on the floor”—well,
[4]doesn’t this discrimination show that your judgments are guided by evil motives?
[5]Listen to me, dear brothers and sisters. Hasn’t God chosen the poor in this world to be rich in faith? Aren’t they the ones who will inherit the Kingdom he promised to those who love him?

Prejudice is highly practiced in the modern day charismatic and Prophetic churches,rich people even those who are not born again are given first priority and honor just bcs they are rich,in my spiritual journey I attended quite a number of Prophetic churches,I served in about 4 churches,in some I had an opportunity to work very closely with leaders,founders,praise and worship and ushers, if there is a group of leaders in the church that is well trained to discriminate people according to their looks,dressing,the car they drive etc it is ushers, I observed that some do this out of lack of knowledge and because they are not well taught the purpose of their offices and are not delivered from pride and arrogance but some take instruction or command direct from the Church overseer, "I don't want to see dusty people seating in front,only gentlemen and ladies with nice suits and dresses"....I v seen it in Nigeria in one big church,an usher can shout at a poor person just for him to leave the seat reserved for someone special in the midst of the whole congregation all ears listening,you know how embarrassing is the scenario.....

The other event that practicalise prejudice inside the church is an event called "VIP"(Very important people) event, there is an amount of money paid for one to be part of this event and not just small money,the anointing oils and materials used in this event are very expensive which means if you are poor you cannot afford this one,now the question is; in Heaven are there any special events and anointing set aside only for the rich or it is just earthly practice? Is it a biblical concept? After VIP there are International Visitors Programmes that are also afforded by rich people only...

Is this how Jesus Christ and the Apotles laid the foundation of the church? No! Jesus Christ was traveling from city to city,from town to town and village to village ministering the word,healing and deliverance to both the poor and the rich without charging anyone any money,the Apostles did the same....,the last is paid one on one sessions,nowadays it is even worse people are charged amounts between P500 and P5000 just to see an Apostle or Prophet, I once witnessed an old woman been sent away with her problems because she ddnt have P200 fee to see Prophets,my heart was ripped apart looking at how the old woman was feeling...and the protocol guy ddnt even care about it..

I know that a hypnotized Christian will say in our generation it is expensive to preach the gospel traveling from one place to the other that is why Pastors are charging people to see them,but my answer is simple,there are many ways of raising funds without making people pay for spiritual help and intervention.....

Colonism Inside The Church

The modern church especially the charismatic and Prophetic movements have adopted and are practicing the old style of government that was used mainly by the European and western countries on African Countries on African countries, in colonial or neo-colonial system the colonized states depends upon their colonizers for food supplies,finished products,infrastructures,jewelry,cosmetics etc even though the colonized countries are the ones that are in possession of the raw materials like minerals,this is economical exploitation of powerful states over "powerless" states....

Modern "Apostles and Prophets" adopted this system by claiming to be powerful and anointed,claiming to be close to and hearing God, and in the process limiting or completely denying their followers true knowledge of how to be in contact with God through the full knowledge and understanding of his Word as Christ said no one can Come to the Father except through him(Jesus Christ is the Word), doing so these Prophets make their followers depend on them for everything concerning spiritual things(they are the go between), they exploit and manipulate them to belive that without them they cannot access the blessings of God, followers give them raw materials(Money,cars and houses etc) and they give them the so called finished products from heaven(anointed materials,blessings-I receive,deliverance,one on one sessions etc), like in the neo colonialism system it is the colonizers who are getting rich and more powerful so does Prophets over their followers....

They adopted the powerful exploitation system of spiritual Fathers and Mothers,everytime a Son or daughter travel to the Father,when he comes back followers are made to believe that he is coming loaded with anointing and blessings from the Father, and they must come and tap in and receive their portion, this is now master/slave system which is an element of colonialism,where followers are given small gifts to keep on coming for more..

It is not the Will of God for his people to be treated this way,he gave Apostles,Prophets,Evangelist,Pastors and Teachers as a gift to the church his body ,to equip and build it unto mature and dependent belivers who are able to consult him themselves, not to manipulate and exploit them with perishing gifts and doctrines....

Ephesians 4:12,14
[12]Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ.
[14]Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth.

If you say that you are prayerful but you have not yet passed the stage of repentance prayer you just wasting your time,there are different types of prayers..e.g Prayer of request(asking),prayer of inquiry,warfare prayer and prayer of repentance etc, the prayer of repentance(amending your ways with God and others), is the the key to the door of prayer realm,if you don't v that key you can't enter into the realm of prayer, repentance is not all about confession but making a total turn around from your wicked ways....
