Jesus was never motivated by how His message would be received. In fact, He reduced His congregation to just a faithful few after preaching a full-course meal on sacrifice. His command of “Eat My flesh and drink My blood” transformed His cheerleaders into cowards. They walked away. He didn't chase after them. He didn't change His message to cheer them up. When they sought sweet words, He didn't give them tasty, sugary morsels. They needed truth.

God has a purpose for us. Once He has saved us, He gives us a mission to complete; to minister to the believers, and a mission to spread the Good News to the unbelievers. Understanding our mission on earth will help keep our eyes on the harvest.
Paul said, “The most important thing is that I complete my mission, the work that the Lord Jesus gave me—to tell people the Good News about God’s grace.” (Acts 20:24)
Paul spoke of the power God gave us to witness to others, “… you will be able to be My witnesses…to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)
Witness – Sharing what God has done in our life. A witness is someone who shares his or her experience with others. God wants us to be His witness, and share our testimonies with others.

Jesus asked, “Who touched me?” Everyone denied it, and Peter said, “Master, the people are all around you and crowding in on you.” But Jesus said, “Someone touched me, for I knew it when power went out of me.”

Many come after Jesus, many believe in His name but many do not understand what it is to have faith in Him. They fail to see Him as the real substance and they will forever miss Him.
