Good morning Breathren....Today's word is Confidence in God .
Confidence in God means trusting God's power ,his promises and his presence .And its empower us to stand firm no matter what we are going through.
When we look at the story of David on 1 Samuel 17 , before David could through the stone he said something ,he said "all those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the lord saves,for the battle is the Lord and he will give all of you into our hands'..Without being said he acted on his faith in God by taking the stone and throw it to Goliath's forehead and the giant man died.
So when we look into our lives ,the giants that we face, rele bana ba Modimo it can be generational curse (pre mature death or re sa nyale or nyalwe ko malapeng a rona) it can be financial problem,failing to get a job or failing at school etc.that can be a giant in someone's life...and the most important thing we can do with those action is to accompany it with the word of God and with our confidence and faith in God,, yes you can read, you can apply for jobs,going to interviews but without word ,faith and confidence our life cannot change ,our life will still remain the same....
And ga re leba story sa bo Abedneco they were being tested ,gore go bonwe gore would they continue standing firm in their faith or continue having confidence ya gore Modimo ke modimo ,they were not shaken ,and
it teaches us that there's a victory in having faith in God ,and in having confidence in God.
As a child of God we should remind ourselves that Jesus has never failed us ,he is the same God yesterday,today and forever .
And also we should look beyond ourselves for confidence in God and worried about anything because we have been given power. In 2 Timothy 1:7 the bible tells us that "God promises to give us power,love and self discipline through the holy spirit'
