So many of us consider ourselves as believers of the kingdom of God yet our thoughts, actions and spoken words are contrary to the Kingdom itself. We have removed the value that God placed over us as his creation. We have developed thought patterns that are so destructive, we go around telling ourselves that we are not qualified to live a joyous life, full of prosperity and influence. Although the Bible tells us that we have been created in God's image and likeness we can't help but see ourselves as defeated, unworthy, ugly incompetent, dismissing everything God says about us.

As the Bible also says in Proverbs 23:7,As a man thinks in his heart, so is he. The more you allow your negative thoughts to dictate to you who you are, the closer you are to becoming everything your mind tells you.
Your business most of the time, if not all is just a reflection of your thinking patterns. If you believe you are a divine masterpiece, that you are a miracle in motion, it won't be long until your business tells us the same about you. You will bring forth good things out of the abundance of your heart. Your products will be good. Your clients, employees finances, relationships will flourish. If you have self defeating thoughts, you will be defeated in the arena of business.

Today as you pray over your life and your business, pray for every thought that destroys your joy and bring it into captivity to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5

Prosperity is from your soul

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
3 John 1:2 KJV

Prosperity comes from your soul according to the above scripture. Its not a result of such things as a good job, a good marriage or even having good connections. There are people who have been blessed financially but live in misery. That's because they do not have peace right from the core of their souls.
Thoughts are a part of our soul and a big influence to the course of our lives. When you think positive thoughts, you attract positive results. When you think negative thoughts you attract negative results.Having good health and success in life is a result of having a positive outlook in life... Positive Thoughts! As the Bible says ;A merry heart does good, like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones.
Proverbs 17:22

Your thought life is crucially important for the prosperity of your soul. Thoughts are a big influence to your decisions, health, emotions, relationships and how you see yourself. If we could be more optimistic in life and direct our thought life to positive things, we would see the world around us change.

Negativity has blinded us from seeing the good in people. Thus offense, doubt, anxiety and bitterness have become a norm in our lives. We easily miss opportunities because of the doubt and negativity that has kept us in chains and we therefore fail to prosper.

Jesus wishes for us to prosper in all things, there's absolutely no exception. If you are experiencing hardship in your business today and your life in general, sit down and examine every thought in your mind. Does it bear fruit or does it steal your joy and make you barren? Every negative thought must be brought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5

Intemperance is fatal to success.!

Blessed are you, O land, when your king is the son of nobles, And your princes feast at the proper time— For strength and not for drunkenness!
Ecclesiastes 10:17 NKJV

If you are a leader, business owner or you work in a high office, you have to know the dangers that come with intemperance. Overindulgence in any form, is a trait of failures and leads to the abuse of privileges and the people around us. One who doesn't know how to do anything in moderation is a great danger. They try to build as fast as possible a life which is far above their means only to destroy it. They are oblivious to biblical principles of building and maintaining wealth, and that there is a proper time to feast. When such people do feast it is for drunkenness and not for strength. Their feasts leave others in oppression.

We have witnessed how people scramble for privileges the moment they are promoted to high offices. Politicians are a typical example. Instead of using their offices to serve the people, everything suddenly becomes about them. We have seen this evil in the church as well. While some servants of God thrive to continue in the foot steps of Jesus, some have made Christianity look like a scam by misusing their power to steal from people.

According to Ecclesiastes 3:1, There is a season for everything, a time for every purpose under heaven. It continues to say there is a time to plant and a time to pluck what has been planted.

The same applies to our businesses. Do not expect to reap today what you only planted yesterday. The small returns in the early stages of your business are for reinvestment until you have a stable income. Have patience and eat only in due season and when you do eat, let it be for strength. Let God use your business to strengthen the lives of your employees, your community, your church, your family and see how God will exalt you.

Success Through Communication

Effective communication is essential in every part of our lives. Relationships, marriages, careers will only thrive when we commit ourselves to communicate well and respectfully with others.Good leaders have claimed their respective places in the society because they were appreciated and admired for their exceptional communication skills. They have power to unite people with their words.

Genesis 11:1-9 gives us a perfect example of the power of communication. There was only one language and the people agreed to build themselves a tower that reached the heavens. In their quest to do so, God confused their language because He noticed... 'nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them.' Genesis 11:6
Yes, as long as there was good communication between them, they would definitely achieve what they had set out to do.

Of course what God did by stopping them was not wrong, it was his will and His will is always perfect. This is just an illustration that where there is proper and harmonious communication, nothing can be withheld. Your plans nor your joy can be withheld. You have the power to build a successful business and career daughter of God. You have the power to become one of the world's greatest leaders. It's all in the power of your tongue. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.
Proverbs 18:2

Don't go public with private thoughts

II Kings 20:15
And he said, “What have they seen in your house?” So Hezekiah answered, “They have seen all that is in my house; there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shown them.”

I have observed so many businesses failing even before their conception because they were prematurely announced. There are times when God gives us witty ideas that are meant to change the course of our lives but instead of paying attention to where and how God wants us to start, we run to the outside world and blabber what was meant to be a private conversation with God.

In the opening scripture we see how King Hezekiah opened up his house to strangers and showed them all the treasures he possessed including his armory.... Who does that? 🤔 God was not pleased with his actions and sent to him Prophet Isaiah to tell Hezekiah that his actions would cost him all his treasures, all that he possessed including his sons, to the very people he invited.

Not everyone will be happy for your successes. Keeping quiet about some of your dreams, plans and achievements shows wisdom. The enemy comes but to kill, steal and destroy. The enemy cannot read our thoughts but the moment you open your mouth, he's out to attack.

If you feel God is calling you to do a certain business or wants to promote you in a certain area of your life, pray and ask him to reveal his plans clearly to you and let him establish those plans. Don't invite everyone to see your armory. Don't share your dreams and plans before time. They may be stolen by the very people you share them with.

And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men,
knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.

Our God is a God of excellence and takes pleasure in our lives when we also perform with excellence. He encourages us to do everything we do with an excellent spirit, with great enthusiasm and to be passionate about our work. Our reward in our businesses and in our work places do not come from our bosses or clients, they come from our Lord, that is why we need to work as if we are working for God himself.

Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings; they will not serve before officials of low rank.
Proverbs 22:29 NIV

The word of God promises that if you are diligent in your work, you will have great connections with great people in life. You will serve before kings, presidents, members of parliament... You name all the ranks of great leaders you can think of. You shall stand before them.

Apply Godly principles in your workplace and you will never go wrong. Have love and respect for your colleagues, be faithful, have self control, have patience. Bring every plan and every strategy you wish to apply in your work before God., remember that at the end of the day it's God's plans that prevail.

God is the one who determines your successes and failures.Proverbs 19:21 says : Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord ’s purpose that prevails.

Apply God's principles today and do business supernaturally. Enjoy your supernatural harvest. 😎

Life is made out of time. Every hour, minute, and second you let slip through your fingers daily is valuable time you could use to change your life. Always know that tomorrow's success lies in the seconds, minutes and hours of today.

Ephesians 5:15
See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise,redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

The devil wants to steal your time through worry, doubt and fear. If you do not know what your purpose is in life, if you do not allow God to lead you into his will, surely the adversary will assign his cohorts to fulfill his own evil plans through you.

Your daily agenda determines your success. Make the right decisions daily and commit them to the Lord.

Yes, commit your plans, your works and your ideas to the Lord and your thoughts will be established.

Today is the most important day of my life. Yesterday with its successes and victories, struggles and failures is gone forever. The past is past. Done. Finished. I cannot relive it. I cannot go back and change it. But I will learn from it and improve my Today.

Today. This moment. NOW. It is God’s gift to me and it is all that I have. Tomorrow with all its joys and sorrows, triumphs and troubles isn’t here yet. Indeed, tomorrow may never come.Therefore, I will not worry about tomorrow. Today is what God has entrusted to me. It is all that I have. I will do my best in it. I will demonstrate the best of me in it— my character, giftedness, and abilities— to my family and friends, clients and associates. I will identify those things that are most important to do Today, and those things I will do until they are done. And when this day is done I will look back with satisfaction at that which I have accomplished.

Many people are unmindful of the fact that whatever or whoever we associate ourselves with, we eventually become like that thing or person. It is said that we are the average of the five people we spend the most time with. The Bible puts it this way ;

He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will be destroyed.
Proverbs 13:20 NKJV

It is a fact, if you walk with murderers, you will eventually become one, if you associate with drunkards, we will find you at the pub drinking with them at some point. If you are constantly found among people who dream of building a great wealth for themselves, their nature will rub off on you and it won't be too long untill you start having the same thoughts.

People take on the nature and the habits and the power of thought of those with whom they associate with. Napoleon Hill

You will not be successful in any business or work place if you are always found with people who lack ambition, who lack self discipline, people with negative personalities or those who are afraid to step up of their comfort zone.

I challenge you today to look around to those in your circle... Ask yourselves, do I want their nature and habits to rub off on me or do I deserve better.
