Grace and peace from God to you WCC family, well-wishers and partners! "...So here I am today, eighty-five years old. I am still as strong today as the day Moses sent me out. I'm just as vigorous to go out to battle now as I was then" (Joshua 14: 19-11). These are the words of Caleb at eighty-five years of age. I have a question for everyone here today, more especially to the older folks: Where do you see yourself in the next five years? If you do not think such thoughts and do not ask yourself such questions, you have retired from life; you are merely existing and not living. Here are some thoughts to ponder on: 1. In every child there is an adult, and in every adult there is a child. 2. An adult in childhood brings an element of responsibility, a child in adulthood brings life and vitality. 3. It is for this very reason that some children behave like adults, and some adults behave like children. 4. A child who kills an adult in him remains a child, and an adult who kills a child in them, ages rapidly and retires from life. 5. From this notion comes the maxim: As you age, don't stop playing, change the way you play and what you play with. 6. It is a child in an adult that keeps them young, vibrant and dreaming. Ask Caleb at age eighty-five, he will tell you. 7. As you age, never kill the child in you, just know how to keep the adult and the child together.
Where do you see yourself in the next five years? Let's talk.

Grace and peace from God to you WCC family, well-wishers and partners! Today's word is: To every problem there is a solution ( based on our Sunday message, Genesis 21: 8-21). Each one of us has had or is currently facing a problem which requires a solution. Here are some things for your consideration regarding problems: 1. Every problem has a solution, for the two are as inseparable as are the two sides of a coin. 2. Solutions are older than problems but they cannot be availed before the problem. 3. Solutions to problems are found or discovered. 4. We cannot find or discover something that is not already in existence. 5. Often, the solution to a problem is closer than we think; just within, in front, behind or beside us. 6. Unless the Lord opens your eyes, you may die of thirst while sitting next to plenty of water. It was only after the Lord opened Hagar's eyes that she saw a well right by her side.
Whatever problem you may be facing, know this: There is a solution to it, and the solution may be right by your side. May the Lord open your eyes to see the solution to your problem!

Grace and peace from God to you WCC family, well-wishers and partners! Today's word is: It still can happen (based on John 5: 1-15). This is the account of a man who had been crippled for 38 years. A sad story with a beautiful ending. Here are some important points in this story: 1. Time and space are not barriers to God's power, because he lives outside time and space. 2. God is never intimidated by the longevity and/or gravity of any condition. 3. God can take you to where others are, without having to take you through the process they underwent. In the present text, many were healed by jumping into the water of the pool of Bethesda, but the man who was crippled for 38 years got what they got without getting into the pool although he was by the pool side, and had hoped to be healed their way!
God can still do it for you, but it may be more radical than you expect.
