Ministering: Apostle David Grace
Sermon Title: Royalty
Subtitle: Is There No King in You?
Every child of God carries royalty within. There is a King inside of you. The words you speak carry more weight than you realize; life and power are released through your tongue. Complaining, however, is an insult to your redemption; it reveals a lack of understanding of who you are in God.
One of the great challenges of this generation is the rise of secular Christians, also called carnal believers; A secular Christian is someone who treats God as a secondary option rather than the center of life. Life without God is dangerous, and ungodliness is contagious. If you do not cut it off, it will contaminate your faith. God does not need external help to give you a testimony. When you associate with ungodliness, you will end up under pressure to fake what only God can do. This is why the Word instructs us to walk in the authenticity of kingship.
Ignorance of Royalty
The Israelites were freed from Egypt as royal citizens, yet many longed for the shackles of their captors. They failed to recognize their identity in God’s eyes. When you do not know who you are in Him, you neglect your kingship. Instead of commanding circumstances, you cry over them.
Power comes from the time you spend with God. Too often, the memory of your past is stronger than your present faith, limiting what God wants to do in you. Reading the Bible halfheartedly cannot transform you. You must be fully conscious that the King is with you. That consciousness alone will carry you far in life.
The Symptoms of a Sleeping King
When the King within is dormant, it manifests in three ways:
• A poverty mindset
• Continuous bo***ge
• Failure
The Awakening of a King
To awaken the King within you, four steps are essential:
• Renew your mind daily – Allow the Word of God to transform your thinking
• Speak with authority – Do not only state what you see; declare what you desire in alignment with God’s Word.
• Walk in righteousness – Live intentionally by God’s principles, and your life will reflect divine order.
• Embrace your inheritance – You are a child of royalty. Live out your privileges and enjoy the goodness of God.
God has not called you to live small. He has called you to reign in life, to walk in authority, and to reflect His glory. The world is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God (Romans 8:19). Awake the king in you—renew your mind and embrace the inheritance of royalty that Christ has given you.
