One of the major religions in India is Hinduism. This religion believes in there being many gods. For any situation you may be passing through, there is a god for it. There are about 33 million of them. The Biggest god they have in my opinion, is the god of education, more specifically the god of school, one, however, that they do not worship in the temple.
The student su***de rates in India have been very high for quite some time. One of the main reasons for that is failed examinations because you see, in the traditional Indian household, you are either a doctor, an engineer, or a failure.
Let's zoom out of India for a second, the su***de rates in the world right now are very high and alarming. They have been for quite a while, the pandemic found them high and took them even higher.
People are depressed, stressed, and of lowly spirit. There are a lot of toll-free numbers to call for help, a lot of psychologists and therapists, so what seems to be the problem? shouldn't it be, if you think of it, that because of so much help the rates should have been going down?
Let me open your eyes, the issue is that we have been trying to fix a spiritual problem physically, the devil is after the minds of people, more especially the youth. There are some problems that cannot just be solved by pills and discussing your problems, those things can help but only to a certain extent. Haven't you heard of people who pass away and the doctors cannot find the cause, or people who come to the hospital with pains but when the doctor comes to check there seems to be nothing wrong? yes? some problems are more spiritually caused than physically caused.
So what's the solution? Jesus Christ, always has been, always will be. There is hope for you. If you take your own life, there is no coming back from that, there are no second chances. Seasons come and go, today you may be full of sorrow, but that doesn't last forever. What's making you feel like you need to take your own life is the devil. Don't do it. Give God a chance, and another, and another.
You haven't lived your best life yet, you haven't smiled your best smile yet, you haven't laughed your best laugh yet, you haven't seen your best day yet, you haven't preached your best sermon yet, you haven't reached your prime yet, give God and time a chance to heal you.
PRAY AND LET GOD KNOW ABOUT IT FROM YOUR PERSPECTIVE, READ YOUR BIBLE MORE THAN EVER.
Ever heard about the story of the teacher who was holding onto a glass of water, he asked his class, "how heavy is this glass of water?" one student guessed, "16 ounces?" He took a while to reply, giving them a moment to reflect on the question, finally he replied," The absolute weight of the glass does not matter, it depends on how long I hold on to it, if I hold it for a minute, nothing happens, if I hold it for an hour my arm will begin to ache , if I hold it all day long my arm will feel numb and paralyzed. Well, the weight of the glass hasn't changed but the longer I hold on to it the heavier it becomes; the stresses and the worries of life are like this glass of water. If you think about them for a little while there is no problem, think about them for a little longer, it begins to hurt, if you think about them all day long you will feel paralyzed and incapable of doing anything. Always remember, PUT THE GLASS DOWN.
Don't be afraid to reach out, to have people pray with you about this. Believe me, it is a problem which can be solved through Jesus Christ.
