John 14:5-10

*It's Your Attitude Which Will Take You To Hell.*

God, because of His grace and mercy will always give men a chance to repent from their sins, but men choose to rebel against God.

*He does all this because He doesn't want to see anyone going to hell.*

🛜There are people who will be in hell but they did 'lesser' sins than the sins of king David, but David will be in heaven. The reason is because of their attitude towards the opportunity that God gave them to repent.

⏭️Both David and Cain were given equal opportunities to repent, but the responses and results were not the same.

✅God was not angry at Cain for killing his brother.

✅God was instead willing to give him an opportunity to fix things.

🎯🎯He asked an obvious question, just to show him that He was not angry at him and that He is aware of what is happening.

📍📌But Cain replied with a bad attitude: *"I do not know. Am I my brother's keeper?"*(Genesis 4:9-10)

⏭️To me it seems God was saying, where is your brother, so that we can talk about what happened to him and see how I can fix it if we agree, *but Cain was rebellious.*

🛜This is the same obvious question that was asked to Adam: "Adam, where are you?"

✅Adam responded in humility: "I heard your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked, and hid myself." After their conversation, the curse was released, but at the end, God showed them mercy and made tunic of skin and clothed them.
🔥🔥Even after he was chased out of the garden of Eden, he accepted the judgment of God with no retaliation, but it was not so with Cain.

🎯🔥After Cain was cursed, he complained all the way, as if God treated him unjustly. He even left the presence of God himself.

*The difference between these two is the attitude they gave to God.*

⏭️David also, did terrible sins before God, but when God gave him an opportunity to fix things, David immediately fell on the ground and repented with great regrets.

*This is why I am saying, in heaven we will meet people who have done greater sins than us, while some of us are on their way to hell, just because of our attitude towards our sins.*
➡️God gives grace and shows mercy to a killer that repent and gives judgment to liar who does not repent.

⏭️It is not the size of the sin, it is your attitude towards the opportunity God gives you-- that provides for grace and mercy.

*✅May you not harden your heart like Cain when God gives you an opportunity to fix yourself with Him*

And .....

✅May your attitude towards rebuke and sin be that which is acceptable to God.

Meeting Spiritual Needs

Go and make disciples in all the nations... Matthew 28:19 (TLB)

Christian missions is unique in the aggressive movements of history. Christianity in its pure form has no “axe to grind,” no system to foster, and no profit motivation. Its job is simply to “seek and to save that which is lost.” Nothing more, nothing less. The words “apostle” and “missionary” mean the same thing: “One who is sent.” The word apostle is from the Greek; and the word missionary is from the Latin.

The New Testament is a book of missions. The Gospels tell of Jesus’ missionary accomplishments, and the Acts tell of the missionary endeavors of the apostles. The disciples were launched into the world by the power of the resurrection, and the Gospel made its impact upon the world’s people. Peter went to Lydda, Joppa, Antioch, Babylon, and Asia Minor. John went to Samaria, Ephesus, and to the cities on the Mediterranean. Thomas journeyed to far away India. Paul, the peer of all early missionaries, used the roads Rome had built to take the Gospel through the Empire. Today the need for missions is greater than ever before! The world is shrinking in size but expanding in population. We live in a world of conflicting, confusing beliefs! We live in a world of complex problems! But, more important, we live in a world of dire spiritual need.

Father, help me to be a light in this world of darkness, ready for each opportunity to share Your love with those whose spiritual needs are great.

PURPOSEFULLY LIVING

Ephesians 1:11-12
[11]In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,
[12]that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.

You have been chosen by God to live your life to His glory. He created you and filled you with potential.

You need not do anything in your power for He has promised to equip you to live victoriously.

All you have to do is to trust Him completely to work in you through His Holy Spirit.

A victoriously life in union with Christ lies ahead of you. Filled with his mercy and compassion, you will be able to serve your fellow man faithfully.

When coming from Gaborone/Mogoditshane route, turn left into main Gabane junction (at the PUMA filling station), drive sraight down the road and pass the Gabane Junior Secondary School on your right, and take the first right turn after passing the school. Then drive all the way, you will pass a primary school on your right, drive until you reach a 4 way stop, take your right at the four way, then drive for approximately 200meters, you will see a sign board for AFM Gabane on your left, just by a bridge, take that left turn, and drive on the off road (keep left), it will lead you to the church compound.
