John the baptist understood his position and what has to happen spiritually. He says when Jesus Christ arrives on the scene everything else should decrease and eventually fade away giving way for the supreme Authority . This happens automatically. Remember all knees (sicknesses ;challenges; demons and people) have to bow to the name Jesus Christ the only name given man to be saved through

When we accept Jesus Christ in our lives, let's make sure that we part ways with everything we believed in before and what we thought was helpful to us. I am referring to all religious practices that do not please God , habits; traditions, people, charms etc...

Let's not allow anything to compete with our Lord and Saviour. If we do that we limit the power of God in our lives. Remember the godly jealousy when He said "This is my beloved Son, hear him and him alone" Luke 9:34 -36
