YOU ARE INVITED

The ordination of a bishop (often called episcopal consecration) is the sacramental ceremony in which a priest is elevated to the highest of the three degrees of the Sacrament of Holy Orders. This grants him the fullness of the priesthood and makes him a successor of the Apostles.

✝️THE ONE PART OF THE MASS THAT MOST CATHOLICS TREAT AS ORDINARY… BUT ANGELS FALL ON THEIR FACES😳🤔
_____________________
There is a moment in the Mass when heaven does something you never see…
because you’re too used to hearing the same words every Sunday.

A part of the Mass we treat as routine…
while angels cannot remain standing.

It happens right before the Consecration.

It’s the Sanctus - “Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God of Hosts…”

What you whisper… angels shout

In Isaiah 6, the prophet sees heaven.
Not clouds, not harps, but seraphim, the highest choir of angels.

These beings are so radiant that Isaiah writes:

“With two wings they covered their faces.”

Why?

Because even angels cannot look directly at God’s holiness.

And what were they shouting?

“Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God of hosts!”

The same words you repeat every Sunday.

At the Sanctus, earth and heaven collide

The Church doesn’t sing the Sanctus because it’s beautiful.
She sings it because heaven is singing it right at that moment.

This is the part of Mass when:

The veil between earth and heaven becomes razor thin.

Angels descend around the altar.

The liturgy of heaven and the liturgy of earth become one song.

Saint John Chrysostom said:

“At the Sanctus, countless angels bow their faces to the ground.”

What Catholics recite casually, angels proclaim trembling.

Why this moment is not ordinary

You’re not “starting a prayer.”
You’re joining a cosmic chorus that began before time.

The sanctuary becomes Isaiah’s vision.
The altar becomes the throne.
The priest’s voice becomes the voice of the heavenly liturgy.

The Sanctus prepares the universe for what comes next:

God Himself descends onto the altar.

That is why angels fall prostrate…
and why Catholics should never say the Sanctus as if it were wallpaper in the Mass.

Next Sunday, don’t rush it

When you hear:

“Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God of hosts…”

know this:

Heaven is singing with you.
Angels are bowing beside you.

THE MOST DANGEROUS PRAYER YOU SAY EVERY SUNDAY AND DON’T REALIZE 😳🔥
_______________
People think the devil hates holy water.
Or incense.
Or Latin.
Or statues.

Yes, he hates all of that.

But there is one moment at Mass that burns him more than anything else…

A moment so powerful that hell trembles every time it happens:

✝️ The moment the priest says:

“Lift up your hearts.”

Right there, the entire Church obeys:

“We lift them up to the Lord.”

And in that moment, something spiritual explodes.

Why this moment destroys the devil

Because for a few seconds, the whole Church rises above temptation, above fear, above sin, above the noise of the world — and places its heart in the hands of God.

Satan can tempt your mind.
He can whisper to your imagination.
He can disturb your peace.

But he cannot follow your heart when it's lifted to Heaven.

When your heart goes up…
his chains fall off.
his lies lose power.
his accusations collapse.

Your heart, once lifted to God, becomes unreachable to hell.

This is why the Early Church trembled at this line

The Fathers said this moment is when the Church “leaves the earth and stands before the throne of God.”

It is not poetry.

It is liturgical reality.

At that moment, the Church is no longer in a building.
It is in the presence of God.
And the devil is locked out.

So next Mass…

When the priest says:

“Lift up your hearts,”

don’t say the response mechanically.

Mean it.
Do it.
Let your heart rise.

Because the devil knows:

A lifted heart is a heart he cannot touch.

And every time you say,
“We lift them up to the Lord,”
you declare war on hell,
and heaven wins.

"Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:10). Order is a divine principle that governs the universe. We see it in maths, where formulas and equations unfold with precision. We see it in the military, where discipline and structure enable effective action. We see it in police and government, where orderly systems maintain peace and stability.

And so, the Catholic Church, as a reflection of heaven on earth, is built upon this principle of order. From the Pope to the Cardinals, Bishops, Priests, and Deacons, each plays a vital role, reflecting the heavenly hierarchy. This order is not just a human construct; it's a divine institution, a reflection of God's plan.

In the Church's order, we find unity, harmony, and purpose. The Pope leads, Cardinals support, Bishops shepherd, Priests serve, and Deacons minister. This hierarchy is a beautiful reflection of heaven's order, guiding us towards God's will.

Let us cherish this gift of order, and rejoice in the beauty of the Church's hierarchy, reflecting heaven's harmony on earth.

THE NICENE CREED: EXPLAINED!

The Summary of our Faith~

Will Wright

CATHOLIC FAITH, LITURGY, PRAYER

▪ HISTORICAL INTRODUCTION

We call the Niceno-Constantinopolitan Creed the Nicene Creed. The Nicene Creed is professed every Sunday at Mass in the Latin Rite of the Catholic Church.

In the Eastern Rites of the Catholic Church and in our separated Orthodox brethren, this same Creed is professed in its original formulation.

The only difference between the Creed of the East and West is the later addition of the phrase “and the Son” to the paragraph on the procession of the Holy Spirit. Unfortunately, this disagreement has caused great difficulty and division between Eastern and Western Christianity.

The Nicene Creed arose from the first two ecumenical councils of the Church. The first ecumenical council is the First Council of Nicaea in 325 A.D. and the second is the Council of Constantinople in 381 A.D.

This Creed is ancient and it has preserved the faithful from a variety of heresies for over 1,600 years. To understand it is to understand what we believe as Catholics.

▪Walking through the Creed

Let’s take a quick walk through the Creed and try to understand it a bit more in depth. Of course, each word in the phrase is packed with meaning and endless depth.

Truly, the reality of our Faith is that we are diving into the mysteries of an infinite God. So, there is always more to learn.

▪Paragraph 1 – God the Father

I believe in one God,

the Father almighty,

maker of heaven and earth,

of all things visible and invisible.

We believe in one God in three Persons. We do not believe in three gods. Our one God is not only our king and Lord, He is our Heavenly Father. We are His children. He created everything that we can see, but He also created all the things that we cannot see. For example, we believe in the angels, in our own souls, and in the demons. God is Lord over all of it and has all might.

An Italian woman from Australia heard of Saint Charbel Makhlouf in Lebanon and decided she wanted to go with her Lebanese friend and son to visit his shrine, as she was suffering from cancer.

She arrived in Lebanon and went to the church only to discover that everything was closed. As she and her son walked back to the car a priest was walking by. The woman asked if the church was open and he answered “How can I help you?”

She explained that she had come from Australia, was suffering from terminal cancer and just wanted to receive a blessing from the priest. The priest said to her that he would give her a blessing now. She asked her son to take a picture when the priest blessed her.

She thanked the priest, got back in the car and left. As they were driving back to the hotel, she, with her Lebanese friend, went through the photos on her phone, and suddenly realised that the priest in the picture was actually St Charbel himself!

She got back to Australia, went to the hospital and tests confirmed that she no longer had cancer. The miracle was documented.

Early Christian Church/ Cave Church was discovered in Cappadocia turkey. Indeed, this is a Roman Catholic Church's design.

Biblical verses talk about cappadocia:

1 Peter 1:1 , an apostle of Jesus Christ, To God’s elect, exiles scattered throughout the provinces of Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia and Bithynia

Acts 2:9

Parthians, Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia

BREAKING NEWS: POPE MODIFIES GLORIA AND OUR FATHER

Pope Francis finally approved the changes he has long wanted to implement to the Lord's Prayer by replacing "lead us not into temptation" with "do not let us fall into temptation," reports UCatholic.

The Gloria will be revised to "Peace on Earth to people beloved by God" (pace in terra agli uomini, amati dal Signore) from "Peace on earth to people of good will" (pace in terra agli uomini di buona volontà).

"On May 22nd during the General Assembly of the Episcopal Conference of Italy, President Cardinal Gualtiero Bassetti announced the approval of a third edition of the Messale Romano," reports the outlet.
