Theme Scriptures: Acts 17:28 | John 1:1β6 | 1 John 2 | Isaiah 43:2 | John 9
π βFor in Him we live and move and have our being.β β Acts 17:28
β¨ THE ESSENCE OF MOVING IN CHRIST:
β In Him We Live and Move β Our lives are completely intertwined with God. Nothing was made apart from Him, and our true identity, purpose, and movement are found in Christ.
β The Word Gives Light β John 1 reveals that the Word was with God and that life was in Him, and that life became the light of men. Godβs light gives us direction, helping us recognize who we are and where we are going.
β From Believing to Knowing β There is a difference between believing in God and truly knowing God. We begin as spiritual babies, needing to be carried, but God expects us to grow until we can walk with Him and recognize our identity in Christ.
β God in the Darkness β Sometimes God allows us to pass through difficult seasons, not because He has abandoned us, but because He is teaching us to carry His light. Even in darkness, His presence remains with us, and we can shine.
β Growth Brings Trust β There are things God cannot entrust to us while we remain spiritually immature. As we grow in Christ, He teaches us to walk by faith, make decisions, and move with Him rather than constantly needing to be carried.
π₯ THE JOURNEY OF KNOWING GOD:
We may start by believing, but God desires us to reach the stage of knowing Him. Those who know their God will do exploits. Like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, our confidence must not be based only on what God can do, but on who God is.
When challenges come, we should be able to say: βI know my God.β
Whatever happens, I am with Jesus.
β οΈ A KINGDOM REMINDER:
Do not assume that you know God simply because you have heard about Him. Knowing God is a journey. As you surrender, grow, and move with Him, He begins to reveal your identity, purpose, and destiny.
There is a level where you stop asking God to hold your hand and begin to walk with HIM
