The Sixteenth Sunday after Pentecost | The Church of St. Christopher, The Martyr – Lyford Cay

Did you know?
The Sixteenth Sunday after Pentecost reminds us that forgiveness is not about pretending the hurt never happened, but refusing to allow it to have the final word. God’s mercy invites us beyond keeping score, holding grudges, or allowing yesterday’s wounds to determine tomorrow’s relationships. Forgiveness may not always restore what was, but through Christ, it can begin to transform what will be. We are invited to consider what might change—in our hearts, our families, and our communities—if we allowed mercy to speak louder than the hurt.

The Fifteenth Sunday after Pentecost | The Church of St. Christopher, The Martyr – Lyford Cay

 Did you know?
The Fifteenth Sunday after Pentecost reminds us that faith is not lived in isolation. God calls us to care about one another—not only when relationships are easy, but especially when they are tested. Through honesty, forgiveness, love, and reconciliation, even what is broken can become an opportunity for healing and growth. We are invited to remember that loving our neighbour is more than a feeling; it is a responsibility to seek what is good for one another and, wherever possible, to build relationships that reflect the love of Christ.

The Fourteenth Sunday after Pentecost | The Church of St. Christopher, The Martyr – Lyford Cay

 Did you know?
The Fourteenth Sunday after Pentecost reminds us that encountering God can change not only what we believe, but how we live. Moses discovered that ordinary ground can become holy when God calls us to His purpose, while Jesus reminds us that following Him may require courage, sacrifice, and a willingness to choose His way over our own. Faith is more than recognizing who Christ is—it is allowing that truth to shape how we love, serve, forgive, and respond to the world around us. We are invited to ask: when God calls, are we willing not only to listen, but to follow? who we say Jesus is, but whether the lives we are building truly reflect our answer.

The Thirteenth Sunday after Pentecost | The Church of St. Christopher, The Martyr – Lyford Cay

 Did you know?
The Thirteenth Sunday after Pentecost reminds us that what we believe about Christ shapes who we become. When Jesus asks, “Who do you say that I am?” He invites more than an answer—He invites a life built upon Him. In a world offering many identities, voices, and foundations, we are reminded that Christ remains the Rock upon whom His Church stands. We are invited to consider not only who we say Jesus is, but whether the lives we are building truly reflect our answer.
