Church of God Bernard Road Family:
Bring It To Jesus
What an awesome time we experienced in the presence of the Lord on Sunday. We thank God for a powerful worship experience, a mighty and a timely Word that reminded us of a simple yet life-changing truth:
Bring it to Jesus.
In Mark 9, a desperate father brought his troubled son to Jesus after exhausting every other option. What stands out is that while the son needed deliverance, the father also needed an encounter with Christ. Burdened by years of pain, disappointment, and concern, he cried out, "Lord, I believe; help my unbelief."
That father reminds us that even those who are strong, protective, and responsible can become weary under the weight of life's burdens. Fathers often carry silent concerns for their families, but the lesson of the text is for all of us: when the load becomes too heavy, bring it to Jesus.
There is an old song that says:
"Take your burdens to the Lord and leave them there."
This week, don't carry what God has invited you to surrender. Bring your worries, your fears, your family concerns, your unanswered questions, and your personal struggles to Jesus. He cares. He understands. He is willing to help, and He is more than able to do what no one else can do.
As the father humbled himself and brought his need to Christ, may we do the same. Strength is not found in carrying every burden alone; true strength is found in knowing where to take them.
As fathers lead, families follow. As believers trust God, others are encouraged. And as a church, let us continue bringing our burdens, our families, communities, nation and ourselves to Jesus.
May the Lord strengthen you, encourage you, and give you peace throughout this week.
This week, give it to Jesus. What you place in His hands no longer belongs on your shoulders.
Have a blessed and victorious week.
God Bless
