It is with profound sadness that the COGOP Faith Avenue announces the transition of Bishop Rudolph W. McKinney, the father of our Senior Pastor, Minister Graham McKinney.

The saints of Faith Avenue celebrated Jesus’ joyous and humble birth into the world.

The service was marked by prayer and hymns and a dynamic word preached by Senior Pastor, Graham McKinney. Pastor McKinney reminded the congregation that Jesus loves all, and that it was His love for us, that kept Him on the cross.

The message was concluded with a demonstration, as the church used this moment to tangibly displayed God’s love to all of the children by giving them Christmas gifts.

Lastly, the church recognized and honored all their high achieving academic students by giving them gifts and words of affirmation and encouragement.

Our moderator on Sunday (Sister Laverne Pratt) asked us to make some declarations over our lives. This is what she shared:

3. Abundance and Joy fill my life.
4. I appreciate the love and support of those around me.
