The Family Life Commission is one of several stand alone ministries covered by the PASTORAL CARE & COUNSELLING MINISTRY of the Anglican Diocese of The Bahamas and Turks & Caicos Islands. The Diocese is a part of the Anglican Province of the West Indies. As such the Family Life Commission is also a member of the Provincial Family Life Commission

. The Family Life Commission was established formerly under Canon Harry Ward now retired. The aim of the commission is to provide spiritual and emotional support and resources; to provide training for leaders in Mentoring, Parenting Skills and Health Care ministry.
