She would constantly hear Apostle Raymond Wells refer to the kingdom when preaching or when in prayer. He stated that he was a kingdom man and that his life was the kingdom. This brought to mind the fact that many people sing and have abilities and gifts that are undeniable. However, amidst all of that singing, she wanted to refer back to what she knew in the bible. hey dealt with battles was to send the singers/praisers out first. This spoke to her as to how we can be more effective in our singing ministry. She took it upon herself to bring the “KEYS” to music ministries around the nation so that we can all be more effective in our singing ministry. For her, it’s more than just a song or a good gift. She compares us as singers to the Israelites because most churches start with praise and worship every Sunday morning, which places us on the frontline. We are the first people the congregation sees and we face swords and daggers disguised as depression, poverty, sickness and disease in every service. It is our responsibility to create a sound that will cause God to move on our behalf. The KEYS Music Workshop came forth through the desire to not have praise and worship as we normally would. “In that respect I feel that we are fighting to see His kingdom come on earth”, says Minister Trish.
“I truly believe that when the true presence of God comes in any place, there really is change. Nothing happens until He enters. I believe that if we really invoke His presence and He is pleased with us, that people will leave not with the mindset of church as usual, but because of the strong corporate worship, they will be ale to take that same experience back to their personal worship and seek His face and have that relationship with Him.” ~Minister Trisha
