β€œRend your heart, not your garments, and return to the Lord.” – Joel 2:13

The Rt. Rev. Philip S. Wright, Bishop of Belize, has been elevated from Senior Bishop to Archbishop, Primate and Metropolitan of the Church in the Province of the West Indies β€” the first among equals in the House of Bishops.

Reflecting on the moment, Archbishop Wright shared:

β€œWell, you could imagine it’s quite an overwhelming moment. When we start these journeys into ministry, you would never imagine a day like this would come… It gives me an opportunity to serve the Church I love, the Church I have devoted the majority of my life to, and to know that I can continue to be a part of moving the work and the mission and the ministry of the Church forward.”

We offer prayers of thanksgiving and support for Archbishop Wright as he begins this new chapter of leadership and service across our Province.

πŸŽ‰ THANK YOU, NASSAU! πŸŽ‰

What an absolutely stupendous day! πŸ™ŒπŸ½
The food was incredible πŸ—πŸ”, the music electric 🎢, the Junkanoo rushout unforgettable πŸ₯, and the crowd energy unmatched!

From sunrise to nightfall, George & King Streets were alive with joy, laughter, and community spirit with every stall buzzing, vendors selling out, and families celebrating together beneath our Christ Church Cathedral towers.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who came, volunteered, cooked, danced, and celebrated with us. πŸ’œ

Until next year… the Cathedral streets will never forget this!
