ORGANISTS TUNE UP THEIR SKILLS
On Saturday, May 30, 2026, four of Ebenezer's organists met in the Sanctuary where Dr. Paul Jones, an Associate Professor of Music at The University of The Bahamas, spent two hours sharing his knowledge on organ playing. Renee Kemp, Clint Higgs, B'Angelo Cartwright and Andrea Gibson learned organ techniques, how to set various organ stops for different kinds of sounds, and how to program the organ more effectively. It was quite a valuable time and the organists gained renewed enthusiasm and excitement to take on the challenge of playing the organ more effectively. Dr. Jones has committed to sharing his experience again with us in the new church year. We appreciate his willingness to give of his time and talents with our music department.
