Please call the Church if you need a ride. Our Church is handicapped accessible. The Organization Service of Our Saviour Lutheran Church was held on Sunday March 5, 1967. The Installation of Rev. Sandrock and the Charter Members of the Congregation was performed by Dr. Gordon Huffman, President of the Eastern District of the American Lutheran Church. There were some 58 families installed as founding members. From the Organization Sunday Bulletin: Greetings and welcome in the name of Our Saviour through whom we organize our congregation today. As we adapt His name for our Church may our worship and daily lives reflect his love and glory. Our Saviour Lutheran Church: What does this mean?
“Saviour” means one who saves, rescues or delivers. This is an appropriate name even today for our Congregation, as it reminds us that our Saviour, Jesus Christ, came to save us from sin, rescue us from the devil and deliver us from our last enemy death. As 1 John 4:14 puts it: “And we have seen and do testify that the father has sent his Son as the Saviour of the world.”

WHAT DO LUTHERANS BELIEVE? As a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church (ELCA) we confesses the Triune God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. As Lutherans we trusts the Gospel as the power of God for the salvation of all who believe. Through our preaching and teaching we prepare members to be witnesses in speech and in action of God’s rich mercy in Jesus Christ. Every Sunday in worship we hear God’s word from the Scriptures, pray as Jesus taught and come to the Lord’s Table expecting to receive the mercies that the Triune God promises. Throughout the week we continue to live in our baptismal covenant by faith, serving others freely and generously in all that they do because they trust God’s promise in the Gospel. God calls and empowers us for mission through baptism. As a community of believers justified by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8), we do not describe mission in terms of our own work but with reference to the healing, salvation and restoration that God accomplishes through Christ. Prayer for your journey: From ELW Page 317
O God, you have called your servants to ventures of which we cannot see the ending, by paths as yet untrodden, through perils unknown. Give us faith to go out with good courage, hot knowing where we go, but only that your hand is leading us and your love supporting us; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
