We often act as though preaching is categorized—as if some are called to “preach Jesus,” while others are called to preach something else.
But preaching about Jesus is far more than simply mentioning His name in a sermon.
Every kingdom concept, every principle, every truth, and every divine idea is ultimately a revelation of Him. He is the template, the embodiment, and the manifestation of all that we were created to become.
Even in our uniqueness, the fullest expression of who we are is found in Him. Our individuality does not exist apart from Christ; rather, it finds its truest meaning, identity, and expression within Him.
Scripture has revealed much about Jesus, but it has scarcely begun to unveil the fullness of who He is—and, consequently, the fullness of who we are becoming in Him. What has been revealed is profound, yet it is only the beginning. We have barely scratched the surface of the inexhaustible revelation of Christ.
Therefore, when we mention the name of Jesus, it must be more than a traditional religious practice or a familiar phrase attached to our preaching. His name carries the revelation of an entire kingdom. It is the declaration of who He is, who we are in Him, and what everything was created to become.
To proclaim Jesus is to call all things into alignment with Him—to bring every thought, purpose, identity, principle, and destiny into perfect agreement with the pattern of Christ.
