Teaching Overview
In his first teaching of the year, Geshe Tenpa will explore the Four Lower Vehicles (Four Hinayana Views) within the Yungdrung Bön tradition.
In Tibetan culture, spiritual practice is naturally integrated into everyday life. Actions such as raising prayer flags, making prostrations, or reciting mantras are not separate from daily activities—they arise from a sacred worldview rooted in the five elements and a deep sense of interconnectedness. These practices find their foundation in the Four Hinayanas.
For Western practitioners, these teachings are especially important. Before approaching the higher ta***ic and Dzogchen vehicles, it is essential to establish a solid understanding of these foundational views. They help us recognize the meaning behind our practices and connect them to our body, our environment, and our lived experience.
