The ground to be understood is the all-pervasive sugata essence.
Uncompounded, luminous, and empty, it is the natural state of awareness.
Beyond confusion and liberation, it is completely quiescent, like space.
Although it abides without separation in samsara or joining in nirvana,
Due to the great demon of coemergent and conceptual ignorance,
From the solidified habitual patterns of grasping and fixation,
And the different perceptions of worlds and inhabitants,
The six classes of beings appeared as a dream.
Although this is so, you have never moved and will never move
From the original condition of the essence.
Endeavor therefore in purifying the temporary stains.

Hi Everyone, I'm not writing much as having problems with my hands and also my present computer that has frozen keys so prevents my from typing easily.
hope your well? It's good to consider what is a spiritual path and where we are at present and where we would like to go if that is a suitable question. The whole of the Buddhist path is within the dimension of our own mind, or our mental processes. We are not looking to discover anything external but our focus is on the way we see whatever is arising to our consciousness in any given moment.
We focus on investigating if what we see is true or not. If what we perceive actually exists in the way we think it does or not? We question the source of all our experience no matter what it may appear to be and the possibility of how we can work with these appearances so the result is a process of awakening instead of resulting in more confusion...
The Buddha said that it is not necessary to suffer. For us to hear that it would seem an impossibility but maybe we do not believe this statement because we do not understand clearly the cause of what is termed suffering. Not the symptoms of suffering but the psychological cause and conditions that result in our experiences that we interpret as suffering in its various forms.
By understanding our mental processes we can become our own Psycho-therapists working with our own neurotic habits and tendencies that re-generate the distorted way we see life's situations. Slowly we can free our minds of our self imposed limitations and slowly open our hearts to the meaning of Wisdom and Compassion. These are qualities within our own true nature-qualities that we have now, not something to discover in the future. Our path is to reveal what is now hidden from view yet is always present if we allow the space for our own true nature to reveal itself.
Ask yourself what it is your looking for and how you presume to find it-then at least we might have some clear direction.......love Az

Hi Everyone, hope your well and utilising your life as your practice and practice as your life. Essentially our spiritual path is about the way we see whatever appears to be happening and how we interpret what's coming in through our 5 senses to be a certain object or a certain event but remember whatever our experience its our mind, our mental processes that are coming together in a certain way that makes us experience whatever it is in a specific way.
The whole of the Buddhist path is about our own mind from beginning to end, it's about understanding the mind's capabilities and using them to realise the essential unconditioned and awakened nature of our consciousness beyond all our dualistic fixation and mental fabrication which according to the Buddhist view is the cause of our suffering and confusion.
If one wishes to be liberated from suffering and it's cause one needs to be willing to work with the way we see the phenomenal world in relationship to ourselves. The more we can free ourselves of our neurotic habits and tendencies that perpetuate further conditions for more confusion and suffering we are actually liberating our distorted vision and at the same time our true enlightened nature has the possibility to reveal itself.
We need to remember that if we sincerely wish to follow the Buddhist path we need to take responsibility for our own experience as it's generated by the way we see not by something external as it appears to be now.

good morning to you all. Hope you are all well and the appreciation of being alive and the opportunity it brings as far as realising our human potential. We tend to waste so much of our lives looking for things we think we should have but do not have ,insteady of uncovering and revealing the treasure that we do have-which really is the answer to genuine happiness. Everything else that you think you do not have now, but might have some time in the future depends on certain conditions coming together and that means whatever we consider this kind of happiness to be, it won't last, it will come and go like the conditions it depends on to manifest.
Genuine happiness does not depend on any conditions as its our own essential unconditioned nature-that does not come and go, does not change in any way, it's like a hidden jewel waiting to be uncovered. Don't waste this precious human life by looking for the answers in the wrong place as that is quite futile, quite meaningless and ends up only bringing more dissatisfaction and suffering. Why? because it's like planting seeds of rice expecting to get corn. All you end up with is more and more dissatisfaction.
Life is vulnerable, fragile and we never know when it might come to an end, so don't let's waste this precious opportunity to recognise and realise our own awakened nature.

Dear Friends of Mae Terra, I do hope this msg finds you in good health. Please support Mae Terra's activities in any way you can as I personally built this centre to be able to benefit many beings in different ways. It is important to have a pure motivation not just our usual self centred way of doing things but a sincere aspiration to be able to make our lives of benefit to others. How to do this-first we need some clarity-if we do not have clarity ourselves then all we can share with those around us is our confusion and that is not so helpful. This centre was constructed in order to create a space for people to come together and discover the true nature of the phenomenal world we perceive and the true nature of the perceiver of that world. True in this sense means the unconditioned nature. Now for most of us we do not understand that our perception is totally limited and distorted by our previous mental conditioning. We do not see how this is imprisoning our ability to see what is true and what is illusory and how the the lack of recognition of our true nature is causing all our confusion and suffering.
It is the aim of this centre to create a space for us to appreciate and realize the beauty of our own nature and to understand that we already have the treasure we're looking for,if we look within our hearts- we just need to know how to reveal it. This is our path that will allow both Wisdom and Compassion to express itself.

If Mae Terra is to succeed as a community centre people need to support it's activities and use it in positive ways to benefit the community. I built and supported this space since 2007, but there was little interest to support our activities as a Buddhist centre. I'm hoping now that I have offered the space to be used for various activities that the local community will support and maintain the environment and make it even more beautiful with a beneficial aspiration to be of benefit to all

This space thats called Mae Terra will no longer function as a Buddhist temple but as a community centre for the people in Mucuge. As I have now made my principle place of residence in Ati-Ling MG so cannot be there to supervise the temple and live in Minas at the same time.
Mae Terra will be run by Claudia and Flora who live in Mucuge

Dear Friends, I'm sorry I have not posted here for a long time but as you may know I have made my principal residence in Alagoa Minas Gerais. Because of this I thought better to move the contents of the temple to Ati-ling our new retreat centre there.
So as the location of Mae terra still exists and the construction is still there it will no longer function as a temple as such but now as a community centre.
I did not want Mae Terra to stay empty and not used so I felt the community could make good use of the space in a more open and flexible way-where kids could have art groups and people could meet for variousl activities.
Before the temple had many precious objects that were fragile and needed specific kinds of care as some were very old so I thought better than to give others the responsibility of constantly taking care of everything I'd make use of it here in Minas-Ati-ling
