This morning, Pastor Richard Sturz took us on a wonderful journey through Philippians 4:4-9, reminding us of God’s timeless recipe for peace in a fractured world.

It’s no secret that modern life can easily rob us of our peace. Interestingly, things weren't so different in ancient Philippi — a culture filled with division and social pressures. Yet, God's promise to them (and to us!) remains a peace that surpasses all understanding.

Pastor Richard highlighted five steps from the text to help us guard our hearts:

✨ Focus on the real source of Joy
✨ Choose gentleness
✨ Let go of worry
✨ Bring your cares to God in prayer
✨ Live with a thankful heart

When we put these into practice, we get the ultimate assurance: "The God of peace will be with you."
Wishing you all a blessed and peaceful week ahead! 🤍

This morning, Reverend Billy Lane took us into one of the most intimate moments of Jesus’ ministry: His Farewell Speech in John 14:15-31.

In a world without instant messaging or easy travel, a "farewell" carried immense weight. It was a final chance to entrust loved ones with a legacy. As Jesus prepared to leave, He left us a roadmap for the soul:

1️⃣ Love as our Compass: Following God isn't about "rules"; it’s the natural result of loving Him.
2️⃣ The Holy Spirit as our Guide: We are never truly alone. We have an Advocate with us forever to help and sustain us.
3️⃣ The Return as our Hope: "I will come back." This is the heartbeat of our faith—the essence of Christian hope.

What a comfort to know that even when we feel alone, we have a Helper by our side and a future to look forward to!

Where is your heart anchored? ❤️ In today´s Sunday School, Reverend Billy Lane continued our journey through the Sermon on the Mount, focusing on the true meaning of "Treasures" (Matthew 6:19-34). We explored the idea that the only thing we truly "take with us" to heaven is our character.

It was a convicting reminder that wealth isn't just about what’s in our bank accounts — it's about our perspective. Whether we realize it or not, we are always serving something. Is it the pursuit of "more," or is it the pursuit of God?

Let’s remember this week:
✨ All belong to God: Everything we have is a gift from Him.
✨ People first: Individuals are more precious than possessions.
✨ Service to Good: Our resources are meant to fuel a higher purpose.

If we keep our hearts healthy and our eyes on what matters, our whole lives will follow suit. Who are you choosing to serve today?

We were so blessed this morning by Pastor Newton Oppermann’s message! As we move through this 5th Sunday of Easter, our hearts are already turning toward Pentecost.
Just as the Old Testament celebrated the "First Fruits," we remember the Holy Spirit descending to bring the first spiritual fruits to the Church. Reflecting on John 14:1-14, we are left with these beautiful, challenging questions:
✨The Promise: Jesus is coming again — are our hearts ready to receive Him?
✨The Way: Do we truly lean on Jesus as our only Mediator and Truth?
✨The Vision: Are we looking for the Father's hand in everything Jesus does?
✨The Legacy: Jesus promised we would do "greater works" — how are we living out that calling today?
The big question for us this week: How are we doing with the mission He left us? Let’s be ready to do what Jesus calls us to do! 🙏✨

How do you introduce yourself? Usually, we share our names, where we’re from, or what we do. But this morning, Reverend Billy Lane showed us a different perspective through the Gospel of John (John 6:35, 8:12, 10:1-10, 11:25, 14:6, 15:1). Jesus introduced Himself using seven powerful metaphors — the "I Am" statements. From "The Bread of Life" to "The Good Shepherd," Jesus wasn’t just using poetic language; He was revealing His true identity as the Son of God incarnate. The most beautiful part? Unlike distant leaders or other gods, Jesus knows you by name. He calls His sheep individually and leads them out. Are you familiar with the Shepherd's voice? ✨ Our mission this week: stay familiar with His voice and follow where He leads.🐑

Are we praying, or just repeating? Today in Sunday School, Reverend Billy Lane guided us through a fascinating study of The Lord’s Prayer. We often say these words by heart, but do we truly understand the power behind them? Jesus was very specific about the "DOs and DON'Ts" of prayer. He wasn't discouraging perseverance, but rather warning against the empty, repetitive habits of the hypocrites. The essence of prayer is simple yet profound:
✨ Direct our minds to the Father.
✨ Align our hearts with His Kingdom.
✨ Trust Him for our daily bread and protection.
Our Father knows our needs before we even ask. If you want to dive deeper into the Word and find a community that grows together, come visit our next Sunday School class!

Freedom always comes with a price. ✝️ This morning, Pastor Terry Johnson connected the spirit of the "Inconfidência Mineira" to the greatest sacrifice ever made. We often think of freedom in a civic sense, but Jesus shed His precious blood five distinct times to ensure our spiritual freedom: in the Garden, during His scourging, through the crown of thorns, at His crucifixion, and when His side was pierced. This is more than history; it is our forgiveness, our justification, our sanctification, and our victory! Let’s allow the power of His sacrifice to work deeply in our lives this week. Our spiritual vitality depends on it! 🕊️

A week ago, we celebrated the Resurrection — but how does Easter change our "ordinary" Monday? 🕊️ This morning, Reverend Billy Lane walked us through 1 Peter 1:3–9, challenging us to live as "pilgrims" in a strange land. The Resurrection isn't just a past event; it defines our:
✨ Past: We were given new life through a new birth.
✨ Present: We are protected by God’s power as we journey.
✨ Future: We are walking toward an incorruptible inheritance.
He wrapped up with the Letter to Diognetus, a beautiful 2nd-century reminder of what a distinct Christian life looks like. Are we living with the joy, hope, and assurance of a traveler who knows exactly where they are going? Have a blessed week!

SUNDAY SCHOOL TODAY!! Sermon on the Mount: Session 5 > Today, Reverend Billy Lane invited us to meditate on the "fine line" between genuine piety and hypocrisy. Using the examples of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, we were challenged to check our motivations. 💡 The Takeaway: Being "Salt and Light" isn't about being seen — it's about living so that others see God through us. Does our righteousness go deeper than the surface?

Christ is Risen Indeed! 🕊️For today’s Easter Sunrise service, Dr. Sérgio Marcus brought us a very special message about the Living Hope that cannot die. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the foundation of our faith. It is not just a story from long ago; it is a reality we live every single day. Easter is the reason we have hope!
✨ Hope is essential: It gives us the strength to continue and the courage to endure difficulties.
✨Hope is secure: It is not wishful thinking, but a reality grounded in the historical fact that Jesus rose from the dead.
✨Hope is a light: When we live with peace and courage, our lives become a witness to the power of the risen Christ. Let’s hold firmly to this living hope today and every day. Because He is risen, the darkest moment is never the final chapter!
Wishing you all a blessed and joyful Easter! 🌿

A Different Kind of King 🌿 As we began Passion Week, Pastor Newton Oppermann led us through Matthew 21:1-11. It’s a powerful reminder: the crowd was looking for a Messiah to break the chains of Rome, but Jesus came to break the chains of the heart. He wasn't the King they expected, but He was exactly the Savior we needed. As we reflect on His entry into Jerusalem, let’s challenge ourselves:
✨ Obey promptly, just like the disciples who went for the donkey.
✨ Look closer at the Word—no detail is too small.
✨ Release prejudice. Jesus came from humble Nazareth, reminding us that God works through the simple and the poor.
✨ Walk in His steps. Let’s strive for humility and a heart that loves our neighbor as ourselves.
Let’s not just celebrate the Messiah we want, but serve the Messiah who is. Wishing you all a blessed Passion Week!
