Happy birthday America!
Living in Brazil... I'm (we are) away from my family for every holiday, religious and secular, every family birth and birthday, anniversary, wedding, holiday, graduation, I even missed my grandfather's funeral. We live a life just just like everyone else. We serve God 7 days a week, we work over 40 hours a week, we had to learn português to talk to our neighbors, go shopping, relate to people around us, listen to the preacher on Sunday, preach to others, and unfortunately, defend ourselves against false accusations in court. Every American originally came from somewhere that was Not America! Everyone except the British had to learn English! They all had to adapt to the "New America" culture! And the very first founders that began it all came to start a nation that would make a new breed of Christians that would live to bring Christ to the nations... I am a seed and fruit of that vision and deeply appreciate those who chose to be a part of this dream, who have given to the kingdom of God to make this mission and vision possible! "GO GLOBAL EQUIP THE SAINTS! " is the vision God gave me 25 years ago. Today it is a reality. 30 missionaries and 8 nations are helped by GLOBAL EQUIP because of our support team.
Each year it gets more difficult, age, resources, growing challenges, inflation! The same challenges everyone faces. But as you, we too will finish this race. We will continue to fight this battle. God is with us as he is with you. Quiting isn't an option!
